Delicious food. Friendly people. - Edit
While I haven't been there in months due to the pandemic, I ate there regularly just prior to it and my very favorite meal is the Fried Chik'n. Service was sometimes slow but everyone was always very friendly.

One of the most stellar meals I have ever had. Absolutely incredible food and very unique takes on classic soul food dishes. The fried chicken was mouthwatering and made in such a creative way using a mushroom base. Garlic Mac was creamy and phenomenal, corn bread was perfection, and even something as standard as the Beyond Burger was seasoned and served in a fashion that was extremely refreshing and one of a kind. The staff were absolutely wonderful and super accommodating, the chef even made the effort to personally introduce himself at our table.

However, it is absolutely justified given the circumstances of their business model, and they make it worth your while with very generous portions.
Overall an amazing experience with unique food and great people. This is a vegan restaurant you NEED to try if you are in the Philadelphia area!

Enjoyed the food and friendly staff. Took my non-vegan friend and he liked it too. Had the V-fish and he had the V-Philly Cheesesteak.

Great vegan options with friendly atmosphere! - Edit
Started off with the cauliflower appetizer (got the Thai chili version). Seriously one the best things I’ve ever eaten- has the perfect crispness, served with a vegan ranch dipping sauce. Then we got the V Chick’n and V fish, both great! We tried the “C food pasta”, Mac and “cheese”, collard greens sides which were all great too. The V chick’n was battered mushrooms and the V fish reminded us of a “crab cake”. The owner/chef told us that they do not use any soy. If you have an allergy though be sure to double check. Great vegan option in Conshy, I hope it stays around!
