Excellent food, wonderful place! A favourite! - Edit
I love the food at Glow! Heaven would be eating here all the time! Seriously, everything I've eaten has been very good. The smoothies are awesome too. I've found the staff helpful and friendly.

Good to have in Duncan, but bit average - Edit
Great that they're 100% vegan. The service could be better - they employ a bunch of dismissive teenagers, and there seems to be a problem with their culture & work ethic. Also some really wierd right-wing propaganda distributed around. Just not nice or relaxing vibes.

anti-vegan climate conspiracists??? - Edit
would give negative stars. this place is distributing extreme-right conspiracy theory newspapers to their local community. i was shocked to walk in here and see absolutely insane conspiracy theories like “the government is controlling the weather to make us think climate change is real”, “the environmentalists will take our meat by 2030”, and “there is human DNA in COVID vaccines” displayed on stacks of newspapers for customers to take in the middle of the shop. i’m by no means pro-gov’t or pro-pharma but this is something else. make no mistake: this business is NOT vegan for the animals or the environment. avoid like the plague (because given their stance on COVID, you’ll probably catch it). not LGBT friendly as they had anti-LGBT flyers up as well.

I used to be a regular customer, but this type of thing is why I stopped going here. It never sat well with me that their personal beliefs were on display like this - I don't know if it's appropriate to alienate your customers by making them feel weird and uncomfortable, especially when you are paying 11+ dollars for a juice.

More than just juice! - Edit
Delicious vegan & GF food. I recommend arriving before 3:30 p.m. because the kitchen closes then & choices are more limited after 3:30. Taco salad was great, chili was very tasty, & if sweets are your thing, try the mini donuts.

Quality food - Edit
Stumbled across the gem today. Am vegan and gluten free so figured I’d just run in and grab a salad and a juice. But there’s sooo much more. They have raw pad Thai- which I got and was delicious.
Read moreAlso had to grab some snacks for later so got a vegan and gluten free Nanaimo car and a peanut butter cup. (Maybe it was cashew can’t remember now) Plus they had a ton of flavours of ice cream.
Also saw on the menu they do raw pizza.
The lady was very friendly and I will definitely be heading back soon. Organic vegan and gluten free and raw is my jam.
They have soo many goodies here. You have to go.
Pros: Organic, vegan and gluten free, Variety, Friendly staff

Ok food - but lacking proper covid policies - Edit
The food is good, if not a tad inconsistent (sometimes the salads come with lots of toppings and dressing, other times it is much more spartan), and the pre-packaged options they have in the cooler are sometimes not as good as ordering the food fresh. However, the juices are great, their smoothie selection is nice, and the fact that it is all raw is also a plus.
Read moreDisappointingly, this place was one of the first businesses I noticed being defiant of COVID-19 mask wearing rules, with at least one staff member not wearing a mask.
Update as of January 2022: the business has for many months been flippant with mask wearing mandates, and to date nothing has changed. Staff do not wear masks.

Cons: Expensive, Inconsistent

also noticed horrifying anti-mask/anti-vax propaganda inside among other conspiracy flyers. extremely disappointing.

Fully vegan, raw, the pesto dish is delicious - Edit
It’s completely vegan, lots and lots of food options (most cold/raw). Tons of smoothies and juices and a good amount of desserts. I had the pesto zucchini noodles and it was delicious, I ate it all!

Wonderful, healthy menu! Really good raw food and smoothies full of superfoods! Our local friends took us here during our travels, and all of us loved it (3 non vegans!)

Here for a week and so far have been here every day! Great selection, healthy and delicious!! Their main menu is only for brunch time, and still lots of amazing options for the morning.
