Best Vegan Donuts - Edit
I stopped in here today and had two different donuts. They were the best donuts I’ve ever had! They were thick and chewy and not too sweet!

Awesome doughnuts and breakfast, but unreliable - Edit
Really great doughnuts and the rest of the food is good as well. Reviews seem to warn that they run out of doughnuts around 10:30 or 11am. I can report that left Glory Doughnuts around 10:15 on a Sunday, and they still had doughnuts left.
Read moreSeating is quite limited, only a few tables. And it was pretty crowded. But turnover seems to be quick so we were able to get a table for 2. Trying to eat there with a larger party might be more difficult.
Do check their Facebook page for updates! And have a backup plan if you can’t eat there. At least that’s what I do, because I don’t live nearby and only try to go if it’s on my way to something else. It just seems too unreliable to go there in its own right, unless you live close by. For me, everything went well with my recent visit, but I overheard that the coffeemaker wasn’t working, and the coffee place nearby had a line out the door.
I had tried to go in 2016. I went in the afternoon, expecting they had run out of doughnuts, and I also arrived to find out the oven wasn’t working (to their credit, they had updated their Facebook page with this info). But was reassured they only made a few things in the oven anyway! So I asked for waffles. Guess what, the waffle iron is also broken! At that point my non-vegan husband was giving me a look that said “Can we back away slowly from the restaurant where nothing works?” Fortunately, he’s back on board after we were able to get doughnuts and food and everything was delicious, but based on the coffeemaker snafu, it seems not totally reliable yet.
In my experience, there is plenty of parking. Unless you consider "the space immediately in front of the business is taken" to equal "there's no parking!!!" You may have to walk 2-3 blocks.
Pros: Superb Doughnuts , Delicious breakfast food
Cons: Things don't always work, Limited seating

Lovee their special Maryland Dog - Edit
My boyfriend's favorite food ever is their Maryland dog, he was a huge meat lover before going vegan and this hot dog is perfect! I also love it a lot even though I'm more of a rice and pasta person. Also amazing donuts!! A little pricy but if you have a few extra bucks to eat downtown it's really amazing once and a while as a treat.

Delicious food! - Edit
My husband and I were recently in town for the Maryland Doom Fest and stopped here for breakfast. They have many options and it's delicious! I had the stuffed french toast and my husband had the huevos rancheros. We also had donuts. Vegan donuts are rare in New England so we had to take advantage. We liked it so much that we came back for lunch which was also amazing. The staff is super friendly too.

10/10 Absolutely Amazing - Edit
Hands down the best tofu fried egg I've ever tasted. I went with two non-vegs and they LOVED the place and were blown away by the food. They had the tofu fried egg sammy and I had the whiskey cream stuffed french toast (everything delicious). I loved that there's different plant based milks to add to your coffee for no additional fee. I've also tried the doughnuts and they really are ridiculously good. The staff is great and very helpful (my english isn't perfect and they were more than happy to help me). I can't wait to go back and try everything in the menu!

I love this place. I cannot remember ever having doughnuts this good, even in my pregan days. They have a variety of flavors that switch around consistently. Everything id made day of, and you can tell.
Read moreI am so pleased to see their expanded diner menu! I am not sure how they season their tofu fried egg but damn. that stuff is on point. I have tried a few of the new menu items and hope to return soon for ravioli, pierogis, and stuffed shells.
The recent expansion means that you can get there at noon or later on a weekend and still have plenty of doughnuts to choose from. I should note that it can be crowded during peak hours, but do not let this deter you from going.

I. LOVE. GLORY. DOUGHNUTS. - Edit
I first had Glory Doughnuts when they just had a few options for sale in a local bakery. When they finally opened their shop, I made a point to go. I cannot say it enough - I LOVE THIS PLACE. The doughnuts are fabulous, the food options are homey and hearty, and the atmosphere just brings me joy. When I moved out of Maryland, I made a point to go to Glory Doughnuts every day for the last week I was in town. It really is that good. Doughnuts sell out early so make sure to get there before 10am. Weekends are very crowded with long lines (sometimes down the street). It is a little pricey, but I love supporting a local small business. Coffee is great, especially cold brew. I especially love the raspberry shortbread, chai tea, and rosewater doughnuts, but they're all good. Worth making a special trip to Frederick for!

Great spot for brunch - Edit
My vegan friend posted some yummy-looking dishes from Glory Doughnuts on her Instagram, and a few days later, I went to check them out myself. I ordered a vegan version of huevos rancheros, my boyfriend had French toast with cream sauce and fruit, and I got some pancakes to-go for my son. All of the food was fantastic!!!!

Very pleased - Edit
We got there a little bit after 9am on Saturday. The line was out the door and it took us about 10 minutes before we placed our order. There is very limited seating but we were able to snag a table. The food was great and the customer service was excellent. We will be back :-)

Worth the trip!! - Edit
I have been wanting to visit this place for months now and on Friday I made the trek for some coffee and donuts and I am so glad I did. Service was super quick and the donuts were tasty!! This is a small shop and they make each batch daily by hand so I do know that they can run out if you don't get there early on the weekends. I won't hold this against them because they offer other yummy looking breakfast options and it's understandable they wouldn't want to over bake goods and be wasteful. If you live close by I do see them sell them BOGO as the day gets later to clear them out so that's cool!!

Never have food or donuts!! The food taste good but closed at random times when their store hours say they should be opened. Also run out of food extremely often. Good food but won't recommend due to lack of dependability.

So much more than doughnuts! - Edit
I can't remember the last time I ate a doughnut, and I waited a while to come here in the mistaken belief that there wouldn't be much else on offer. I was so wrong!
Read moreGlory Doughnuts offers a wonderful full menu of all-vegan breakfast and brunch items. For my first brunch there last week, I chose the Bakers Breakfast with tofu fried egg, potatoes, and Texas toast. Absolutely delicious and filling, and a great value! The coffee with multiple non-dairy milk options was also great. Everyone working there was super friendly. As an added bonus, they were playing a selection of my favorite 60s tunes. :-)

Loved by all - Edit
I found this place from Happy Cow, and knew it had to part of our trip to Frederick. I was slightly shocked how popular the place is! There can't be nearly this many vegans in Frederick, do people even know these doughnuts are vegan? Even my friends who are omni said they've heard how awesome this place is. Doughnuts are super creative and fun, and their brunch menu is amazing. I haven't had such a good savory breakfast in a long time. They use chao cheese which makes everything perfect. They even bake a WHOLE pie for their stuffed apple pie french toast! In fact when we ordered we had to wait 20 minutes for the pie to finish up baking.
Read moreThe only downside is that the place is mostly set up for people to pick up their doughnuts. You can get brunch to go, but if I am buying stuffed french toast I rather eat it there. It was pretty much you order your breakfast, panic that you might not get a seat, and moments before your food comes out someone finishes up their brunch foods and get up to leave and you rush to take their seat. I really hope they somehow figure out how to expand seating.
The other downfall is that food is a little pricey. If we weren't visiting we probably wouldn't spend so much on breakfast. We dropped a lot of cash at that place, but we would probably do it all over again if we go back to Frederick. I totally suggest going out of your way if you are driving through Maryland.
Pros: Greasy comfort brunch/breakfast foods, Creative flavors, Tons of vegan creamer options
Cons: Packed so it is hard to get a seat, A little pricey

Don't walk, RUN to Glory Doughnuts!!! - Edit
My vegan bff had come to visit me over the summer and brought me one when she visited. Absolutely delicious!!! I mean, wow! Then I went to visit my parents in WV and driving through, I HAD to stop. I got a dark chocolate glazed and a raspberry icing with toasted coconut. OMG!!!! The chocolate donut didn't even make it 3 minutes!!! I inhaled it. The raspberry was just as delicious, but of course I had to wait a little bit.

Delicious Donuts! - Edit
Every single time I come in here, they are out of donuts.
Read moreToday, I went by around 11:30 AM and they had ONE LEFT. I bought it so quickly!! It was a strawberry coconut shortcake donut -- shortcake with strawberry cream icing and toasted coconut shavings on top. Probably the best donut I've had, including from my pre-vegan days.
They also have delish sandwiches. I had the Fried Egg Sandwich, which was more like a scrambled egg sandwich because if the texture of the tofu egg. Anyways, it was very flavorful -- they definitely have their spice game on. They also used Chao brand cheese. YAY!! It's so much better than Daiya, and really added to the quality of the overall sandwich. Come by here if you want a quick breakfast bite!

just okay - Edit
My husband and I ordered three items and 6 donuts. Of the three items, only the tofu fried egg sandwich was good. The donuts were disappointing. They were not moist and were coated with very sugary frosting. Don't think we will be going back. Giving them three stars for their effort and being vegan.

This was a great find! The neighborhood is cute, easy parking, and the place was cozy and cool. We came for savory options and were not disappointed! I really liked The tofu egg wrap. Everything is really personal and homemade – the only downfall is that they usually run out of donuts early in the day, around 10:30 AM (so I was told). Great all vegan establishment!

Decadent! - Edit
Being as I live an hour from this place, I have been waiting since they opened to find an excuse to go there... so today my boyfriend and I decided to head that way for some hiking and a big breakfast first.
Read moreFood: 9. We shared the apple pie stuffed French toast, tofu fried "egg", and roasted potatoes. All of it was quite delicious, but I felt it was on the salty side (I'm not a big fan of salt, so I may be biased regarding this). While the apple pie French toast was very tasty, it seemed so decadent and unhealthy (e.g. super fried!) that I'm not sure I would want to get it again. I don't regret trying it, though. The tofu "egg" and potatoes seemed healthier to me, but then again one doesn't tend to go to a place like this for healthy options! I got 2 doughnuts to go (maple bourbon and cinnamon toast crunch), which were both better than the doughnuts I had of theirs at Baltimore Vegfest last year.
Prices: 8. Some of it seems sorta pricey, but given the hard work that the owners put into this place it is pretty reasonable.
Atmosphere: 6. It's cute, but it's super small. There are only two tables inside plus a little bar that seats two people, so pretty much about 5-10 people fit in there comfortably. There is one outdoor table with two seats. So yeah, very small!
Staff: 9. Friendly people.
Pros: All vegan, Tasty, Unique food
Cons: Small, Run out of food early in day, Street parking
