I called in sick and drove a hour to try this place. We ordered way too much stuff and it was all great, but the buffalo wingalings were the BOMB. The best part was there were so many options I couldn’t try them all so I have to come back.

I felt as though I had walked into an alternate reality... - Edit
Everything about this place looks and feels like any banal fast food joint, anywhere in North America. The same foods, the same decor, the same wall-mounted menus. The twist, of course, is that EVERYTHING IS VEGAN. (Everything also happens to be delicious - the fries supremacy was particularly convincing).

The only damper on the experience was the automatic ordering system, which also foreshadowed a future run by machines at the cost of basic human dignity.
But for creating a fantastical vegan fast food experience - bravo!!!

I wish I could give a more positive review, but unfortunately my experience at GL was not good. In fact it was the least pleasant of any vegan restaurant i've ever been in.

1. The 2 servers were not unfriendly but they were a bit unattentive.
2. Wait time for orders to be made. Mine was not too bad, but the people after me waited considerably longer.
3. The double burger I had was ok, but far from transcendent.
4. Definitely something off in the fries. Not nice tasting.
5. Desserts were plastic packaged, and expensive relative to their small size. I had a brownie and it was just ok. Maybe less then ok.
6. No recycling for paper that I could find. Despite everything be wrapped in paper.
I cannot give them one star as they were not absolutely horrible, but I feel their is lots of room for improvement.

My dreams came true. I had always wished for a late night food option when cooking is just out of the question. I’ve tried many different items off the menu. Their famous burger, vopper, famous fries, and chicken pretenders are my go to! This isn’t the healthiest place but it’s a great option for any cravings you might have. It’s definitely better for you and the more ethical choice than McDonalds. Some cons would be that you may have to wait. It’s not the fastest “fast” food.. and the inside interior is pretty basic. But other than that it’s a great fast food fix!

This was my 2nd time here. I have tried the Crispy Chicken, Pulled Jack and those Extreme Fries and finished with ice cream (not sure these are the actual names). Everything was fantastic.
Read moreMy husband decided to have a go at the Gyro, Extreme Fries, Onion Rings and also ice cream. He was so happy he went. He loved everything, which is saying something believe me. :) Thank you for being Canada's only 24 Vegan fast food drive through. It's worth the 1:15 hr. drive!

I love this place! My favourites are the famous burger and the bacon breakfast muffin. It's reat that they're always open. The staff is very friendly, but the venue is not the nicest.

I usually love globally local but the wait times are extremely long. Every time I’ve gone, I’ve had to wait over 15 minutes- even when there is no line. Longest is when I’m waiting in drive through. Staff are sometimes sincere and apologize and give a free cookie for waiting. Don’t expect actual FAST fast food. But if you’re willing to wait, the food is good.

Terrible service.. left without food - Edit
I waited in the drive thru for 1 Crispy Chickun meal and after 25 minutes I still did not get my food. I called the 1-800 number on the FB page since there is NO direct number to the establishment and the manager told me that there was nothing they could do. They made an excuse that there was another $200 order ahead - even though there are designated waiting areas for large orders. Simply put, my experience here was extremely poor and I refuse to return under any circumstance. Making customers wait for close to 1/2 hour when there is NO ONE inside the restaurant is appalling. Terrible service. Rude staff. Don't believe the hype!

Hey! Sounds like you had a really bad experience and I understand why you wouldn't want to return. I want to say though that I've gone there so many times I've lost count and it's never been the way you described it. I think it's important to consider that people on staff everywhere have bad days and that this is a newer fast food place that doesn't have the same kind of resources as other places that have been open for 10 or more years. They are in the process of building their clientele and there aren't enough late night orders to put as many people on staff as other 24-hour places. That being said, I can't imagine working there alone or with one other person and getting a $200 order. Perhaps they should have let you know. There is a direct number you can call. It's 519-200-8389 (I had a hard time finding it too).
Read moreI strongly recommend you try going at least once more during the day time and if that goes well which I'm certain it will, try another late night visit. I've gone around midnight and had my order in 10 minutes. I know it sucks to get such bad service and it makes you want to never return. I'm telling you though that it's rare to get bad service here. At least based on my countless visits and those of all the people I've gotten to go there. My vegan and non-vegan friends and family love it.
This is my favorite fast food place :$ and I swear by it. Hope you will reconsider

This is by far my favorite fastfood restaurant. I mean London doesn't have others like it really but the food here is deeeelicious. The menu is huge and I've tried almost everything several times. The food is fresh and the quality is great! A lot of my non vegam friends and relatives love the food too. Also delivery is only $3! They have all day breakfast, a wide variety of breakfast items, lots of salty options, and dessert! I can't wait for more Globally Local locations to open up
