First Ever Raw Cafe ♡ - Edit
First ever raw food cafe I went to, very memorable, and warm atmosphere. Nice for families, those transitioning, and curious people. Solla's heart, soul, and passion for the raw vegan movement is amazing. I had extra green juice, greens, cake, and raw vegan basil burgers because they are super yummy. Thank you!

One of my favorites in Reykjavík - Edit
A great place for a quick bite. Salad bowls, lasagna and burgers, with oumph as a vegetarian option. Price is alright (I mean it’s Reykjavík...). Very friendly and quick service. Also have nice vegan deserts!

Great Vegan Menu! - Edit
We enjoyed a burger and a Thai salad vegan fast food with views of the water and the street below. The presentation was great for a fast casual restaurant and I really love their vegan menu options! Excellent vegan menu/options. See our whole 21 country Vegan Voyage: Instagram: @ForGoodnessSeyks & @ForGoodnessSeyks_Foodie Facebook: For Goodness Seyks

Fancy - Edit
Nice inside, with toilets and plug sockets. Not accessible due to big staircase. I could only afford a dessert without breaking the bank which was good but small. Staff were a bit abrupt

Not vegan anymore! - Edit
As of today the restaurant has changed its menu and stopped being vegan or vegetarian at all. The menu is still similar, but there are options with chicken - yes, I confirmed, REAL CHICKEN! When I asked why they gave me some answer which was no answer to my question, sounded like 'nothing really happened and not sure what the question was'. Anyway, options are still available for vegans and gluten-free, they seem to have added some keto options with chicken. Sorry to see this change - apparently the vegan restaurant has moved to a different location.... Food was still good, it hasn't changed a whole lot from the old menu and I tried several if their vegan options before. Just be aware that they have added meat to their menu and double check before your order that your choice is suitable for vegans!

Our Glo-wing review - Edit
We were very impressed with everything about this little restaurant in the heart of Reykjavik. An excellent atmosphere is created immediately as soon as you step foot in the establishment, aided by friendly staff and impeccable playlists. The food is extremely well priced for Iceland and will definitely fill you up. We particularly enjoyed the vegan lasagne and the pulled Oumph! burger (if you haven't tried Oumph! yet, try it here! A perfect cruelty-free meat alternative, but tastier). Highly recommended for vegetarian / vegan travellers in the capital.

Delicious - Edit
After visiting Hallgrimskirkja,my wife and I tried to get a bite to eat at Kaffihusid-Gardurinn. However, we were a little late in that they had already closed. They were kind enough to point out that Glo-Laugavegur was just a block away (making sure that we could see the sign from their entrance). It was great walking into the restaurant not having to wonder what we could and could not order from the menu. The vegetable lasagna was great, and my wife enjoyed the bowl that she ordered. Desserts were also wonderful (the vegan chocolate cake was great). My only disappointment was not being able to make it back before we left Iceland.

Terrible vegan food - Edit
Was super excited bc of the good reviews but was beyond disappointed. Even the fries were cold and soggy. My Mediterranean “falafel” wrap had no falafel in it and instead had a fake meat they call oumph.

Super nice place - Edit
A cosy place with super kind staff. Tasty food!
Read moreThis is not a restaurant with a big menu, you help yourself for the cutlery etc, it has more the atmosphere of a café/lunch place the way I see it (in a good way, but don't expect romantic dinner with candles).
Relax and enjoy the fact this is a vegan place (the only one town I think?).

Good but not great - Edit
Having read reviews my expectations were perhaps too high. Lots of bowls and wraps on the menu, but I don't go to a restaurant for such easy to make food. So I went for the pulled oumph burger. This tasted quite good, but obviously pulled oumph is a ready made product, so they only added sauces and a bun. But it was still good. The sweet potato fries were tasty but a but soft, I prefer them crispy. Convenient location.
