Great step to go veggie! - Edit
Really happy that they took the decision to ditch the meat in this restaurant by the glacier!
Read moreService is super friendly, prices aren‘t bad considering the location and the accept card payment.
Would love for them to turn more of the vegetarian dishes vegan in the future.

Vegan selection is very small - Edit

Oye, what a missed opportunity - Edit
We went to zugspitze the top of Germany in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. I wasn’t expecting anything more than fries to eat but was surprised when we ordered from an entirely vegetarian restaurant, I thought it should be easy to get something vegan. I ordered the burger and fries and it was um a burger and dry fries. It was interesting that they put seaweed on it instead of lettuce but it just wasn’t very good. My husband got the no curry worst and he said it was fine but not great. I watched a family next to us get their food and be completely uninterested in the food. I think they thought their only option on the mountain was vegetarian food so they had to eat it. There are actually meat options on the mountain but they probably didn’t know that. If you are going to “force” people to only have vegetarian options it needs to be good. Otherwise, the opportunity to prove to a meat eater that being vegan is tasty and not a big deal goes out the window and now their only experience is kind of a not great meal. I love they went vegetarian, but this could be so much better. Happy to have options but I can’t recommend this restaurant. The other restaurant had a salad and vegan stew that might have been better.

Food tasty, stuff unfriendly - Edit
My family and me had a lunch here. The food was tasty, the prices high, the stuff unfriendly… we prefer the other restaurant at the Zugspitze.

Wondrous views and marvellous food - Edit
I was mesmerised at the highest mountain of Germany, assuming and not even bothering to find decent vegan options there. Not only was this venue the only one to offer plant based food, but it was also excellent. The team was kind and happy, no wonder in such awe-inspiring surroundings.
