Delicious flødeboller - Edit
Great opportunity for vegans to try flødeboller. They are all vegan and gluten free. There's a variety of flavours and they look cute too. As a bonus, there's marzipan at the bottom.

Eating Danishly - Edit
Glean offers Flødebollers—a decadent dessert of whipped cream/marshmallow covered in chocolate—in the trendy Torvehallerne market. The market is centrally located and has plenty of outdoor seating—a wonderful experience for tourists and locals.
Read moreWe ordered 4 flavors—coconut, passion fruit, salted caramel, and Danish cookie. The first 3 had a marzipan base at the bottom. The Danish cookie had a crunchy cookie base. The interior tastes like marshmallows, but the texture is lighter and moister like a marshmallow and whipped cream mixture. A light chocolate shell holds everything in place. All of them were decadent. By the time we finished the fourth, we were more than satisfied.
It’s a great experience for any tourist, and I’m sure it’s a real treat for the locals.
Pros: Location, Quality

Viele verschieden Sorten Schwedenbomben :) - Edit
Wir haben 4 verschiedene Sorten probiert: Yuzu, Schwarze Ribisel, Mocca & Karamell und Passionsfrucht. Zusammen 112Dkk.

Childhood memories revived - Edit
I haven't had these in a long time, so I was very happy to find this store! They taste really good and marshmallow-y, just the chocolate coating is a bit thick and I would prefer a wafer in the bottom instead of the marzipan, but overall they are really nice :)

Recommended! - Edit
I've tried a supermarket fødebolle once before going vegan - did not know what the fuss was about. But now I get it! Bakery level ones are at a whole different level! I've tried them with my omnivore family, who thought they were super delicious as well. Tried the Easter special, yuzu and lemon curd, Yuzu is my favourite! It is pricey though, but that is due to bakery tax, Copenhagen tax and vegan tax.. however I'd say definitely worth to try it! Since then found out that multiple stores and restaurants throughout DK sell/serve them as well. Probably for a higher price though of course.

Great chocolates - Edit
Really nice selection of flødeboller and marzipan chocolates. It was tucked away to the side of the food markets and we nearly walked past, but glad we found them! Also made a nice coffee with oat milk.

I had no idea if these would survive my trip back to Seattle but they held up pretty well. My partner loved the flødeboller and marcipanbrød. The lemon curd flavor was his favorite. #Veganuary
