Serves seitan steaks, soups, salads, sandwiches, quiche, sharing platters, pancakes and full English breakfasts. Enclosed garden available on sunny days. Wheelchair accessible but has a lip/step inside the door with narrow access and narrow bathroom space. Note December 2020: Open for takeout only. Open Tue-Fri 08:30-16:30, Sat-Sun 09:30-16:30.

Easy to find on a busy thoroughfare the Glass Onion has 3 different indoor rooms each one distinct they also have an outdoor seating area in a suntrap rear yard, with some play equipment for the toddlers.

Spotted this little gem on a walk the other day. Has a massive section of veggie and vegan food, spanning from breakfast to lunch to cakes etc. I had the coffee cake, it was divine 😍 not badly price either! Will definitely be visiting again soon

I love it when you go to a vegetarian restaurant and the pancakes are vegan. I opted to have vegan chocolate and hazelnut spread and vegan cream. I also had an americano. The coffee was huge! The cafe has lovely rooms you could eat in. I liked my pancakes but it wasn’t as filling as other pancakes I’ve had. Still the flavour was nice.
