What a gem! - Edit
We had the three course dinner at Glas last night and what a treat! The food was out of this world - literally unequal to anything we have had elsewhere. The dining experience was enhanced by the lovely restaurant with fresh flowers, the doting owner, Connor the convivial bartender, the great service of the kitchen staff, and the wonderful, delicious creations of the chef. While a little pricey for typical vegan faire, there was nothing typical about these dishes, which easily could command higher prices and still be considered reasonable. If you are vegan or vegetarian and want the best, head to Glas. And if you are an omnivore, you will be glad you took a risk to try this great place, and I promise you won’t be disappointed. And anyone dining there should splurge for a dessert - they are amazing! Rush to Glas.

Sophisticated Restaurant in Dublin - Edit
Glas is a vegetarian fine-dining restaurant with vegan options. Its central location makes it easily accessible. The dishes offered are special and exquisite and thus, pretty small and pricey. A cozy place with great service and delicious meals!

Super place, wonderful food and great service - Edit
Went for dinner (for two) and the food was exceptional. Out of 4 starters and 4 mains, 3 of them were Vegan. We chose four different plates and they were all meticulously prepared and tasted delicious. Highly recommend.

Just not yummy - Edit
Went here with vegetarian and vegan friends. Menu was inventive and I’m glad that there is a fine dining restaurant in Dublin that offers interesting vegan fare, but it was actually pretty gross food. The saffron kohlrabi dish was pretty medical - chef had seriously overdone the cloves. Poached quince dessert felt similar. For some reason they appear to avoid Asian flavours - maybe that was the night we went. But if we’d all rather have stayed in and had a bowl of plain rice that tells you all you need to know. Service was great - nothing to fault there.

Fabulous - veggie celebration - Edit
It’s a veggie restaurant which has alot of vegan offerings on their menu. We went for an earlybird menu before a show. I found it really hard to choose from the menu as everything sounded great! I went for the mushroom brisket with red cabbage & parsnip cream to start, followed by the Miso Roast Parsnip - Carrot Risotto, Fermented Beech Mushroom, Jerusalem Artichoke Granola. My partner had the Glazed Oyster Mushroom with Butterbean Falafel, Tomato Sausage, Corn Sauce. We also got the patatas bravas as a side. The dishes were really lovely and flavourful and interestingly constructed, which as someone who cooks at home a lot, I really really appreciate. My main course was slightly colder than I’d have liked, however I would dine here again - it’s a beautiful restaurant with a lovely vibe and great staff and the food was great.

Gorgeous veggie restaurant - Edit
Glas is a fancier restaurant than I’d usually go to - it’s a little more pricey, the ingredients are a bit more obscure, and the wait staff describe each course to you as it arrives. That said, the atmosphere isn’t stuffy or off putting in the way many more expensive establishments can be - the staff are friendly and helpful, and the décor feels accessible and comfortable.
Read moreThe food is really good - deep flavour with a good variety of texture in each dish. My omnivore partner gave full approval to the fried cauliflower. The presentation is very impressive. There were about four choices per course (two vegan, two vegetarian) - a more limited menu than you’d get in some places, but understandable as the food is being produced to a very high standard.
Pros: Lovely presentation of food, Vegan food options clearly labelled, Not intimidating though fancy
Cons: Expensive, Limited choices

A true to it's name fine-dining establishment. We went for the "early bird" menu, available if you start dining between 5 to 6 pm. Everything was divine, and the stuff was absolutely lovely. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

From the decor to the service to the food everything was lovely. The food is amazing and so creative. The plates are beautiful and they are able to coax so many flavors out. For me, it is a very reasonable price for this type of experience. One more plug for the excellent service!

Fine dining experience - Edit
This is on the fancy end of restaurants, a beautiful venue decorated with plants and flowers with attentive staff, a great place to celebrate special occasions. It offers an adventurous dining menu (starter, main dish, dessert), of which about 2/3 are vegan and the rest vegetarian, and a cocktail bar. The food is very imaginative and daring, full of unusual flavours and textures. Just wonderful.

We went to this place having already high expectations and we weren’t disappointed! What a great place! The interior with all the plants and floral wallpapers feels very welcoming, the staff is friendly and attentive. You can go there dressed however you like, most of the staff wear jeans and sneakers😄the food is a-m-a-z-i-n-g and not even that expensive considering that we had a vegan English breakfast at a coffee shop the morning before for over 60€. Highly recommend this gem

Such a treat - Edit
There is always the joke about the tiny portions served in some fine dining or experimental establishments, and I feared that would be the case here after looking at some of the photos.

The beauty of the plates was only surpassed by the taste, really a feast for the senses.

We would definitely come back.

We had an incredible dinner at Glas. The service was great. We had the oyster mushrooms and tomatoes for our starters, the broccoli for me and the gnocchi (not vegan) for my husband for mains, and the caramel apple for dessert. The desert was arguably the best vegan dessert I’ve ever had.

I loved the flowery interior, the staff was really nice too and the starter was absolutely delicious! The dessert and cocktail was amazing, too. But truth be told, I was underwhelmed by the main dish, esp. compared to other restaurants which are on the fancier side. So overall, a good experience but not life-changing😄

My favorite vegan meal in Dublin! The restaurant is beautiful and the service was great. The food was a good value, and the most elevated / upscale options I found during my week in Ireland. Glas would be a nice place for a special meal, and if I had had more time I would have eaten here again!

Something special - Edit
We came for lunch and had the extremely good value set menu - 3 courses for €28.
Read moreAll the choices were vegan bar one starter and one dessert - at this point I don't know why they don't commit to being fully vegan, they would definitely get 5 stars from me.
The starters were sublime, the mains and desserts also excellent.
So many complex flavours and textures (the wasabi meringue on my glazed radish starter was unbelievable, as was the lettuce gazpacho with the crispy seaweed fritter). Portion sizes were perfect for lunchtime.
Gorgeous interior and lovely knowledgeable staff.
Can't wait to return.

A luxury - Edit
This is the restaurant we normally go to celebrate something, if we are in the city. The price of the food of this restaurant makes it that way, to be honest... It's not something we could afford too often.
Read moreThe place per se is very pretty, and the food is always tasty.
That said, the portions are small... and I actually think they have got smaller with time.
The staff is normally nice, although some time ago there was a host I couldn't stand (he was a bit arrogant), but last time I visited he wasn't there, so hopefully that is an improvement.
