We had the three course dinner at Glas last night and what a treat! The food was out of this world - literally unequal to anything we have had elsewhere. The dining experience was enhanced by the lovely restaurant with fresh flowers, the doting owner, Connor the convivial bartender, the great service of the kitchen staff, and the wonderful, delicious creations of the chef. While a little pricey for typical vegan faire, there was nothing typical about these dishes, which easily could command higher prices and still be considered reasonable. If you are vegan or vegetarian and want the best, head to Glas. And if you are an omnivore, you will be glad you took a risk to try this great place, and I promise you won’t be disappointed. And anyone dining there should splurge for a dessert - they are amazing! Rush to Glas.

not my fav, really wanted to love. very very little protein available—not trying to hit any numbers but I like having balanced meals. very expensive for what you get. great ambiance/interior. loved the carrot starter & squash main taste wise! found the crème brûlée to be bland (the cornbread pieces were very dry). strawberry dessert was super good!

Definitely choose the 2/3 course options and try multiple things on the menu.
The portions are small so get several plates. The different flavors/ ingredients show how much thought went into the dishes. If you are vegan/ vegetarian/ or even a meat eater this is a must in Dublin

We wanted somewhere fancy as it was my Ladies birthday and it was perfect. Most of the menu is vegan and I did like the relatively small menu as I can be overwhelmed by too much choice! An amuse bouche of beetroot and turnip was a wonderful snippet of the deliciousness to follow! I enjoyed an oyster mushroom starter while K had the spinach croquette and it came with a wasabi aioli which they should bottle! We both opted for a grilled beetroot main which was amazing and we are going to try beetroot cooked that way at home! I enjoy a glass of wine as a dessert and the wine list is groovy and the vegan options clearly marked! Birthday girl had the After Eight cocktail and declared it the best one she has ever had and it was spectacular! If you fancy something fancy this is the spot, thank you for a lovely evening and making the birthday girl feel special! X

Glas was outstanding. From the first moment I stepped foot through the door, the staff acknowledged me and quickly sat me down. They were extremely attentive and friendly yet professional the whole time. The food was incredibly tasty and flavourful. The chef is creative and mixing flavours I would have never thought work together but everything was delicious. Portions were perfectly proportioned to be satisfied and enjoy every bite. I had the vegan options and wish I lived closer so I could enjoy eating here more often. The cocktail of the month I had was also wonderful. But I will absolutely return. I can't recommend this place enough. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. An absolute diamond of a place!

Read moreWe opted for the 3 course menu on the early bird. My starter of spinach croquette was delicious with a wasabi aioli.
For my main course, the grilled kohlrabi with smoked turnip puree and lovage crumble was delightful. The work and effort in the preparation was evident as the kohlrabi melted in the mouth.
I don’t usually have a desert but made an exception and selected the elderflower panna cotta. A light dish with little sugar, a pea gel and poached rhubarb. The rhubarb was sharp and went well with the panna cotta. The pea gel added a different dimension and was fabulous.
I’ll be back and strongly recommend Glas.

Cela fait longtemps que je n'avais pas eu autant de choix sur une carte.
Passons aux choses sérieuses : la nourriture.
Visuellement, le dressage est déjà décevant : il est brouillon et peu inspiré.
Les portions sont petites et mal assaisonnées : trop salées ou sans assaisonnement du tout.
La cuisson est parfois très limite (chou-fleur à la limite du cru). Mention particulière pour les frites de maïs “grillées”, qui se sont révélées simplement brûlées, ce qui a ruiné mon plat.
Malgré un dessert original (Elderflower panna cotta), je trouve la réalisation ratée : les goûts et les textures se mélangent mal.
Cela peut paraître sévère, mais au vu de la réputation du restaurant et de l'atmosphère qu'il dégage l'experience est décevante.

Menu da 2 o 3 portate a scelta tra antipasti , main e dilci ( contorni esclusi ) ad un prezzo che non giustifica né la pessima qualità delle materie prime né l’elaborazione dei piatti. Pessimo l’assemblaggio degli ingredienti sul piatto. Alcuni ingredienti erano pressoché congelati e serviti su piatti caldi. Poco gustose le portate quasi sempre molto salate.

Omg, words fail me.. we had THE BEST VEGAN food ever, I’m vegan over 30 years, The children didn’t have a choice but all three are committed Vegans, Myself and the twins went to celebrate their Birthday and what an amazing experience it was from start to finish! Normally after a new eating experience I try to replicate the food at home.. but this time I don’t think it’s possible, each dish was more amazing than the previous.. I would highly recommend a visit, I know we will be back!

I had dinner with some friends, 2 vegetarian and 1 celiac. Fine dishes, lot of choices and every dish gluten free. Everyone was happy to be able to share and taste without any risks.

How I wish Glas was fully vegan! I appreciate that their now-monthly tasting menu is fully vegan though, so I can enjoy everything on offer. Since our first visit we have enjoyed many phenomenal flavours in different dishes. The cocktails are divine as well. I love the decor. Staff are friendly. It's great to see how popular it is. One can hope that it may in future see the value of becoming fully vegan.

Loved this vegan/vegetarian restaurant. Mostly vegan with a small dairy option. The food was excellent. The flavors sensational. The service and staff superb and the overall experience was satisfying beyond our highest expectations. Everything on the 3 course menu was great but I loved the beans and lentil fritters appetizer, the celeriac schnitzel for entree and the walnut mousse for dessert was all so spot on for the chefs vision to delivery to flavor profile. The textures and savory flavors were such a hit!

Shocked this isn’t on the Michelin list (we ate at a 2 star in Dublin and this is better). From the moment you walk in the door, the staff and the ambiance are welcoming. The food is top notch and exquisite. I had the coconut margarita which was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. We collectively tried 6 items on the menu and had not one negative comment.

Ate here my first night in Ireland and they definitely impressed. The presentation and flavor of the food was impeccable. I ate every last crumb and sauce on my plate . There servers were pleasant and attentive. If you want to treat yourself or on a date you have to make this your stop!
