Along with Naturetto, this is my favorite place in town to eat "real food".
Read moreThey have a great variety of food: fresh vegetables, some raw options (raw lasagna, for example), hot dishes, etc. Everything looks simple, but they are very well seasoned and well prepared.
Make sure you also order the mulberry shake made with cashew milk.
A little pricy, but not very different from the other restaurants in town.

Saindo um pouco da "bolha" vegetariana da Asa Norte, temos o Girassol. Esse era um dos meus restaurantes favoritos até que, na fase mais restritiva da pandemia, adotaram um sistema em que os funcionários serviam os clientes no buffet. Isso piorou o problema das filas e tirou um pouco da autonomia que o self service proporciona.

Praticamente tudo é vegano, sem glúten e sem frituras. Em relação à soja, o Girassol tem preparações com tofu mas não utiliza PTS.
Muitas preparações para crudívoros e boa variedade de grãos: quinoa, arroz integral, leguminosas...
Vale a pena conferir também o empório e a lanchonete.
As embalagens são biodegradáveis e eles têm um sistema de utilização/devolução de vasilhas de vidro para alguns itens como sopas e sobremesas.
Como pontos de atenção, vale destacar a comida um pouco fria (apesar da reposição frequente) e o preço numa faixa um pouco mais alta (R$80/kg). No final da tarde, prefira as sopas: as saladas são refrigeradas do buffet do almoço e já não têm tanto frescor.

They have delicious vegetarian food, almost everything is vegan, including the desserts. They usually have 2 dishes with cheese but they are all identify. It's a bit expensive but it's worth it. They also have organic vegetables growed locally sold every Wednesday and Saturday.

My favourite vegetarian restaurant in Brasilia, Girassol serves vegetarian lunch composed mainly of salad, hot dishes, seasonings, delicious raw preparations and organic/bio ingredientes. It also serves sandwiches, juice, desserts, raw "milk"shakes and has a nice grocery store. It also serves hot green tea for free.

O enfoque em comida viva faz esse restaurante mais saudável que a média. O preço deriva do recurso laboral exigido para desenvolver os pratos, que apresentam bastante criatividade no uso de insumos locais e estrangeiros. A loja disponibiliza produtos de difícil acesso, como agar-agar, achocolatado de abóbora, e óleo de chia resfriado.

Sincerely, the soup I tried was far from something tasty. Seems like they're those "suffering vegans", who thinks that to be vegan must not have any pleasure while eating. Overpriced.
