Solid vegan pizza - Edit
Even though there are not a lot of vegan options, the OMG deep dish is a really solid option. The crust is very good and I can't get enough of the sauce. The staff is super friendly and the environment is awesome. I'd just love if there was a vegan spinach alternative, but other than that, it's just awesome.

Vegan mozzarella really good! - Edit
Shame the spinach topping already has dairy in it though!

That deep dish 😮 - Edit
Ordered a deep dish veggie and a thin crust margarita. The margarita was a classic, exactly what you’d expect from a good slice. The deep dish was a really great Chicago pizza. They both were so good I had to double check that they were made without dairy cheese.

Chicago pizza may not be the best to make vegan - Edit
Came from out of town so of course needed deep dish pizza. Maybe it’s cause it was new to me, but vegan cheese on pizza is better when sparser IMO and that’s not how you do deep dish, so I think that’s the problem.

Must-do while in Chicago! - Edit
Loved being able to find a vegan deep dish pizza here (it was the first time I ever had this style)- it was absolutely delicious. The vegan cheese is not noted anywhere on their menu, but our server was very knowledgeable about this. There is also a small sign on one of the walls talking about the vegan cheese option. We got mushrooms, artichoke hearts, and fresh basil on ours- you can choose from a bunch of different veggies (or pineapple) free of charge. The cheese was so ooey-gooey and perfectly melted, literal vegan cheese heaven. We were told the wait would be 45 minutes-1 hour but it ended up being about 30, they make all of the pizzas from scratch and were pretty busy. Great service and great food!

Vegan Deep Dish! - Edit
Your toppings will be limited to various veggies. But the vegan cheese is on point, and it's a great spot for your deep-dish craving.

Vegan deep dish pizza! - Edit
Great place for Chicago's infamous deep dish pizza. Strongly recommend their garlic and cherry tomatoes. Dairy free cheese available upon request. Amazing service. Worth the 45 minutes wait! #Veganuary

Beware of the spinach - Edit
Stopped into Gino's yesterday, was really excited to get to have deep dish again after years of not being able to find any vegan options. I went with the spinach margarita pizza (sub vegan cheese) but when it came out I realized the spinach was cooked in advance with a dairy based cheese, it was different than the cheese of the pizza. I asked the staff, they said no the cheese was vegan, we found out later that it was not vegan. Really disappointing and upsetting. The staff doesn't have a solid understanding of vegan so be cautious if you eat there.

Worth the wait - Edit
Amazing deep dish with vegan cheese. They have like a "big mac" deep dish that we ordered with no meat, no thousand island, sub vegan cheese and it was the best pizza I've ever had. We went back a week later and tried their veggie deep dish which my husband liked even better (I beg to differ).

Chicago Deep Dish - Edit
Got the OMG pizza with vegan cheese (tasted like FYH). It was a great place to go with omnivore coworkers while staying nearby. The vegan cheese isn’t listed anywhere on the menu but they can put it on any pizza.

Vegan Chicago deep dish pizza! - Edit
You can make your own custom thin crust or deep dish pizza with vegan cheese and pick and choose your toppings. Beautiful flaky crust. The vegan cheese was melted but didn’t scald the roof of my mouth like melted vegan cheese usually does. Quality ingredients.
