Read moreThe curries are the stars - rich and well balanced. The spicy chickpea nibbles deserve special mention: addictive, punchy, and absolutely mandatory ordering. They’re the kind of thing you keep trying to make in your air-fryer after and not quite nailing it.
All vegan options are clearly marked. Service is consistently lovely: friendly without being intrusive, efficient without feeling rushed. It’s the kind of place where you can bring a small group and know that everyone will leave happy. No drama, no disappointment, just plates scraped clean and a collective food coma.
If there’s one frustration, it’s a selfish one: the tyranny of choice. Red, green, massaman - each too good to ignore. A trio curry option would be a public service, sparing me the mild torture of having to choose just one.

There is a decent selection of vegan options on the menu. I had pad Thai and It was very tasty. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff friendly.

I visited the Giggling Squid for a birthday meal last year, with two meat eaters and one vegetarian, so it was important for us to find somewhere we all wanted to eat. I called ahead and checked that they had things which could be made vegan, and they also have an allergy spreadsheet online which I checked. When we ordered I checked again with the waitress, who checked in Thai with the waiter, so I am confident that they know what they're doing when it comes to veganism.
Read moreThe vegetarian sharing board we had was great, and all but one thing on it was vegan, and the curry was also great. The sticky rice was the best I've ever had, even though it's a Thai staple. I'd be happy to go again.
