Great ambience and the spring rolls were great. Had the pad Thai which was nothing amazing but a tiny portion. Found it really expensive for what it was and I left the place hungry. Name off putting for an ethical vegan #justsaying

Amazing place!! City centre location, easy to find - don't miss it!! Great selections with great price. I love the vibe in this place, beatiful decor, nice and friendly staff, fab service!! The foods were beyond my expectation! Satisfying portion and they taste sooo great and authentic!! Not too hard to ask for plant based foods. Would highly recommend this place but maybe a reservation is needed - they are always full!! More than happy to come back next time !!

We nearly didn't book as so many people complained of slow service. However, our food came without long gaps so we were pleased we went. We are both vegan. 3 vegan starters on menu: 2 hot and 1 cold. Of the hot starters only 1 available so we both had spring rolls. They were fine. My main course was phad Thai (no egg) and it was fine. Husband's food better as spicy and I preferred his. Only 1 vegan offering for dessert (sorbet) so we didn't bother. We wouldn't go back as it's easier to get more choice elsewhere. Staff friendly. Nice restaurant decor

The venue is really nice and there is a choice of vegan options and a long drinks menu.

There were over ten members of staff working on the restaurant floor and it was a Monday at 2pm and most of the tables were empty. Service was super slow and food sat out for ages before it came to the table.

Great pad thai - Edit
The giggling squid is one of my staples for quality vegan food in Cambridge. A couple of their dishes I wouldn't recommend such as the cashew stir fry as I found it too heavy, but in general their dishes are great. Occasionally the quality of the food they deliver is worse than in house but they serve great Currys and their pad Thai is one of my favourite noodle dishes to buy.

I had the vegan tapas for lunch. Coconut curry, stir fry, rice and spring rolls. The dishes were good but a little to spicy for me although they were only medium level of spiciness. Next time I’ll try something else. Beautiful location inside the restaurant.

If you want tasty food in a beautiful building this is the place to go.
Read moreEven though the food is a bit pricy for the portion size you do get what you pay for in terms of the building being quite the talking point and the taste of the dishes.
There are a good number of vegan options and all are quite diverse in flavour.
The staff are friendly and the service is adequate.
They were particularly good with asking about allergies and ensuring that those with peanut allergies in my party were well looked after.
