Serves meat, vegan options available. Large Italian restaurant in a remote location. Has an English menu with a separate vegan section. Dishes include rice salad, quinoa with goji, pasta with rucola pesto, grilled vegetables with tofu and radicchio salad with fruits. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-2:30pm, 6:00pm-11:00pm.

Good Pizza

I go here fairly often but exclusively get the pizza. There are some vegan pizzas on the menu, but you can also order any of them without cheese very easily. There’s also a gluten free crust option. It’s a bit pricy and the staff can be less than pleasant, but it’s the best pizza in Lugano. I usually order my pizza to go which is cheaper!

Out of the way but decent selection

The Giardino is located directly at a busy road, but separated by a glass wall so the noise level is okay. The place is a bit hard to reach by public transport, it's a 5 minute uphill walk from "Soregno Laghetto". The garden is quite nice and offers views of the "wrong" site of the hill - the opposite side of lake Lugano. The selection of dishes is perfectly fine, two pasta dishes, two vegetable dishes and two large salads.
