Quite nice - Edit
Doddington Hall & gardens is lovely, & the cafe is a lovely space, especially for cycling fans, full of gear and memorabilia. There are a few vegan options on the menu which are fine, but not amazing. On the breakfast the sausages are old style veg ones not meat replacement. Would be much improved by upgrading to Linda McCartney/ beyond etc. Charged extra for non dairy milk too. Could do better!

New menu, less choice - Edit
Always been really impressed with this cafe but they have a new menu and it’s gone backwards regarding the vegan options. At least two items on the menu are marked as vegan and they’re not - pancakes and beans (or egg) on toast, which is served with butter. The sausages served with the vegan breakfast are vegetable sausages (previously meat replacement type, can’t remember which) and the moving mountains hot dog has gone.
Read moreAvocado on toast has also been replaced with pea guacamole due to environmental issues and yet they’re still serving tons of meat. As we know food miles are not the only environmental impact of food production and avocados cause way less GHG emissions than any meat or dairy.

Good options - Edit
We were pleasantly surprised to see it had moving mountains hotdogs, a vegan chilli and a vegan curry
