The no fish tacos were incredible!! After subsisting on beans and plantains for my trip it was soo nice to finally get delicious vegan food. I also ordered a slice of cake (through Uber so it was a cake of the day sort of thing) and it was peanut butter raspberry which was surprisingly really good.

Lots of various cakes, pies and other baked sweets that looked terrific. I only stopped in for one and chose the key lime pie. It was kind of tasty- I liked the crust, and whipped cream most- the pie itself was a bit bland and hard. Nice atmosphere. I’ll have to try other offerings and hopefully they are a little better.

This place is just wow. So wonderful to find a fully vegan place with so much fun and variety and whimsy. Donut burgers? Korean hot dogs? Design your own crepes? All have been sold here in the last three weeks. Most places I’m lucky to have one relatively boring option, here there is always something new and dazzling and too good to be true.

Everything was nearly perfect. The menu is varied enough to make most people happy, and apparently it changes every few months. It’s was also refreshing to find a lot more than plain burgers, fries and fried protein in San José. Gia has wonderful variations on burger dishes, while so many other vegan restaurants in San José concentrate mostly on the common US burgers and fries! Also beautiful pancakes, vegan omelettes, salads and much more.
Pros: Modifications are a way of life - GF vegan life!
Cons: A small one - less salt whetever you use salt.

Holy wow. This was our first meal in Costa Rica. We'd been drooling over their Instagram photos, and wow the food lived up to our expectations and then some. We got the Mac n cheese Beyond burger (the mac is fantastic on its own and on the burger), another burger (mu husband loved it but didn't share), cappuccino, cookies n cream milkshake, then brought treats back to our hotel: key lime pie, strawberry cream cake, brookie (brownie swirled with cookie dough)n and a chocolate chip cookie. Everything was incredible. (Sorry I didn't take more photos, but check out their IG.)

I was really excited to try this place after seeing everyone’s pictures but was a little disappointed. The mint shake was melted and not good. We got 2 and both got wasted. The breakfast sandwich was good but not a typical breakfast sandwich at all. It almost tasted like it was cooked with balsamic vinegar. It was really expensive and although their menu is in Spanish and English the staff did not speak English. The pastries were all reallllly good.

This is probably one of the best vegan cafes I've ever been to. They have so many options, salty and sweet, and the pastries are just mind-blowing. Beautifully presented cakes and pies and cookies and everything you can imagine! Super nice atmosphere, cute places for sitting, and very friendly staff. Fair price, it's not cheap but definitely worth it considering the quality. I want to go back and try every option! Tip: take your non-vegan friends and blow their minds!
