Amazing vegan food

Loved it here. High quality food, superb service and knowledgeable chefs. Had the plant based brie, lions mane steak and olive oil cake. Everything unreal. The only small negative is that they didn't warm their plates.

A Lovely Evening After A Special Day

Gia was absolutely fantastic! We could not have asked for a better dinner after spending the afternoon at the symphony. The staff was lovely and the food was delicious. Everything we had was incredible and was very quick to arrive. Highly highly recommend the olive oil cake for dessert, you will never taste a better cake anywhere. We will definitely be back.

Incredible house-made pasta

The pasta, which is made in-house daily, is the star here and rightly so. I had the Tonnarelli Tarfufo and it was absolutely divine. It was chewy and delicious - one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The only reason I didn't give this place five stars is that it's not fully vegan and serves dairy and egg products.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Delicious pasta , Nice atmosphere and friendly staff

A place for foodies

This place has a great atmosphere for date night (mostly 2 person tables, dark, and a good size bar). I wouldn't bring my kids here as it has a more adult vibe and menu.

The food was really outstanding. We had the "brie" app, truffle pasta, and olive oil cake. Service was great too. Will definitely return.

Pros: innovative menu, date night atmosphere, delicious food

Cons: Tables too close together

Good Vegan Pasta

Good pasta but dishes are pretty expensive and the sauce for the meatballs tasted like it was from a jar.

Pros: Great Location, Patio, Great food

Cons: Would like more pasta options. , Wish it were 100% plant based

Bring back more vegan pasta!

This place is consistently good, but a few misses. When they first opened it was mostly vegan with only 1 or 2 things on the menu that were vegetarian, but the last time I went all but one pasta dish had cheese. There’s no reason for them to have so much cheese on the menu when they also feature wonderful alternatives like in their vegan Brie appetizer. Would love to see them bring back more vegan pastas and less cheese. The vegetable side dishes are always good. Love the meatballs. The only real misses I had here were a risotto and pasta dish that were bland. Small space and you need a reservation, but vibes are good and I’ve always had good service.

Small space but yummy food

Delicious food but it was somewhat hard to enjoy based on the seating alone which was super cramped and felt elbow to elbow to people on either side which is a big detractor for me. Felt unfair to knock a star off for this because everything else was fine, but I this would definitely factor into whether I'd want to return so keep that in mind if it's important to you too

Pros: Delicious , Good service

Cons: Very very cramped and crowded, small place

Meh food and felt rushed

I was so looking forward to dining here. As a vegan, there aren’t that many special spots to try in the city. I’m also fairly easygoing when it comes to food/restaurants so I am usually very easy to please.

We ordered the meatball appetizer and the olives. Olives didn’t come with bread; something like that would have made it more enjoyable. Instead we were offered the chance to purchase bread. The meatballs were quite good, but the dish was cleared before we were finished with it. The olives, meanwhile, did not taste good.

We then got the mushroom main (“maitake”) and it was a very small portion although it tasted good. The risotto portion was also quite small. Unfortunately, it was lacking in both presentation and taste. Looks-wise, picture a thin layer of neon orange rice spread out over a black plate and dotted with some kind of white cream that looked like polka dots. As a result of the thin layer, the food was barely warm and looked like it had been poured out on the pavement. It had very little flavour although I did like the crunchy salt crystals in it.

We decided to skip dessert and headed to Honey’s down the block for ice cream. It was great, btw.

The two hour dining maximum that was written on the menu made us feel unwelcome, as did the early clearing of our appetizer. Food was expensive for the small portions and hit or miss when it came to taste. We will stick to Planta!

Good but Expensive

Lots of Veg options, although expensive for small portions. Good place for a fancy date, classy interior.

Amazing food & service

We had the vegan crab cakes, Bolognese parpadelle, and wild mushroom tortelli and each were delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

Pros: Mostly vegan options, some vegetarian
