Delicious!!!

One of the tastiest meals I’ve had in a long time!! the veggies were soooo flavorful and the injera was perfect. Am honestly still amazed at how good this was!!!

Pros: Tons of vegan options, Plenty of injera included with meal, Big portions (2 meals for the price of 1!)

Five stars!

So dang good. My boyfriend and I split the vegan ghion special, which came with the veggie platter and a sampling of a bunch (most of?) the mock meat options. It also came with PLENTY of injera (it was only two styrofoam containers but the takeout bag felt like it weighed 20 pounds 😂). We are both currently STUFFED and still have about half of the food left.

Random fact: The mock chicken option comes on the vegan drumsticks (the ones with the wooden stick as the “bone”) and was my boyfriends favorite dish! I loved all the mock options so I don’t even know which I would say is my favorite - though I think it was the drek tibs had a really yummy crunch on the outside of them that made them stand out.

Last thing, be aware, they are not shy about those jalapenos - they are BIG and lots of seeds in them so be ready for the 🔥

Sooo good

This place is so good and is fantastic takeout. They have an entire vegan platter with all the ethiopian veggie sides we know and love plus a bunch of normally meat based dishes made with vegan substitutes (I think they are gardein). It has pretty much saved my life during covid. The owner is extremely kind and it is always amazing.

Pros: Great vegan options different from other places, Best food, Large portions

Great place to eat and chill!

I've been here a few times and it's always an enjoyable way to spend the evening! Amazing vegan options and generally speaking a relaxing yet interesting environment! Highly recommend this place if you haven't been! I went pre-covid so I'm not sure how the vibe is now, but DEFINITELY put this place on your list of "must-visits"!

Pros: Great vegan options

YESSSSS

I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 5 STARS!!! My first experience with ethiopian food. Absolutely incredible. Such a small restaurant with a very warm feeling. The waitress taught us how to eat our food and even how to properly box our leftovers with zero condescension. The veggie platter and vegan tibs were incredible. Best vegan beef I've had and I'd love to come back and try the vegan fish or awaze beef.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Very authentic

Great food, open late!

I was looking for a place with good vegan options that was open late, and found this gem! Very glad to have too - the food was great, and there were a surprising number of vegan options, including vegan fish, vegan beef, and vegan chicken options!

We got there when there were no other patrons, and still our food took a while to get to us, and by the time we left there were 3 other full tables, and service slowed down significantly by the time we were awaiting our bill (there were only 2 people doing both cooking and waiting on tables). Not a complaint as such, but I definitely wouldn’t go in there very hungry.

I definitely recommend the establishment, and will certainly be back to try some of the other vegan options that we didn’t get to try this time!

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Food tasted good, and was freshly cooked, Clean interiors, and interesting decor

Cons: Slightly expensive , Faster service would be nice

Vegan Tibs

I get the veggie combo with the vegan tibs. They have a spicy and non spicy option available. Delicious! Great for sharing or 2-3 servings for one person.

Pros: Only vegan tibs available locally at an Ethiopian

Cons: Not always the best service for dine in., They run out of the vegan tibs sometimes since the
