Serves meat, vegan options available. South Indian award-winning eatery. Vegan dishes clearly labeled on the menu are papaya salad, crispy broccoli, chana masala, green vegetable curry and a coconut based rice pudding. (Please note they do serve a forbidden meat; however, we added this because there are very few choices in the city.) Open Mon-Sun 12:00pm-2:30pm, 5:00pm-9:00pm.

Good vegan option for the area - Edit
They have a number of vegan dishes, and the waitress was very knowledgable about what's vegan. Staff were friendly and the place has a nice, elegant vibe. There is also outdoor seating. The dishes were tasty, a different take on Indian food in some respects.

Cons: Not that many of the menu items are vegan

Great find in downtown dadeland - Edit
was looking for something different and ran across this gem. they are a michelin bib gourmand, james beard semifinalist, and a food and wine best new chef. Service was great but not pushy. The server knew all of the vegan options. We ordered the fried broccoli, which was amazing - breaded in rice flour, fried, and tossed in a spicy and tangy sauce. We also had the papadum with onion chutney, with a little kick from spicy mustard. The main dishes were fresh and fragrant, and the sauces had so much flavor. We topped it off with a coconut-based rice pudding with cinnamon, cardomom and strawberries. They have a local farm where they bring in fresh produce daily.

Cons: a little on the expensive side
