Nice place with a vibe and really friendly service, groceries looked fab. My tofish and chips was a bit of a disappointment, the chips were definitely not thick cut as the menu promised, they were really thin julienne fries. Tofu pretty average. I still wanna try more of their items though.

Lovely relaxed cafe with quick service and yummy food. Had the loaded fries and bruschetta plus coffees. Next time I’m in chch I’ll be back.

I've been here twice and was impressed with the ambience and service as well as the creative and tasty vegan menu on offer. They also sell a variety of vegan products at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

🍔🍟🌱🍽 Met with some clients at Grater Goods in Christchurch today! There were 6 of us. We had great service, cool atmosphere, and really yummy food! All my guests loved their food and they are carnivores! It’s a place I’ve wanted to go for a long time and it’s a bonus they are open until 9 pm! I won’t ever visit most places that close at 2,3, or 4! LOLOL

Top place for vegan food in Christchurch - Edit
I have been a loyal customer since before the cafe was up and running. The menu is great with weekly specials. They now have an amazing array of vegan grocery and deli items to buy. Great wine list and funky background music.

Being the holiday period almost everywhere in Chch is shut, so I was glad I got to visit while it was open on 31st Dec.

The service was slow but they were busy so apologetic that it took them 10 mins to even bring us menus (apparently they’d run out of menus wtf) and take our coffee order.
My oat latte came and it burnt my mouth, way too hot and think they may have burnt the coffee! Not ideal!
Lucky the food was delicious so made up for it a bit.
I had the Rueben sandwich which was very yummy and filling but I had fries as well just to be sure lol.
My omni parter had a breakfast burrito special with scrambled tofu, facon and hashbrown which he really enjoyed.
Loved all the deli products available- had to purchase some pastrami.
All factors considered, it would take a lot for me to return again I hate to say

Still dreaming about that Reuben sandwich! - Edit
My husband has never tried a Reuben sandwich, let alone a vegan one, so when I ordered it he was SO GLAD I did and he said it was the best sandwich he's ever tried. And we've eaten lots of sandwiches! The staff are super friendly and the whole environment is so cool, loved the industrial warehouse feel together with a homely vibe. We're only in Christchurch for 8 days and because of the new year holidays most things are closed so the only downside is that we can't come here more times! Can't wait to get another Reuben, and next time trying the chef's special breakfast burrito - YUM!

More than just a restaurant! These guys make their ingredients from scratch - including vegan pastrami, salami, sausages and cheese. The menu showcases those ingredients - there’s a range of starters, mains, desserts and sides. We felt like we were spoilt for choice. The atmosphere is awesome - cosy and welcoming. The service was also great, they are clearly passionate about what they do. If you are visiting Christchurch you need to go here!

An absolute dream for vegans! The food was delicious and an abundance of choices. Trendy interior, also. As a French language student I also loved the integration of French throughout the café. Can't wait to go back!

My husband and I have been here plenty of times now and they never disappoint!! Have tried a few things of the menu and it's all been amazing, but the show stealer is definitely the KFT burger! It's a must try if visiting here 👏🏼 the staff is also super accomodating and friendly and the place is cool with its little deli corner. Also sweet it's dog friendly!

Got in, immediately greeted by the most charming man ever. I asked for a mint tea and he made it Moroccan style with fresh cut mint leaves. We had their loaded fries of the day which was poutine and I was blown away by the richness of flavour and perfect vegan rendition of such a classic dish. Always get the specials guys. The special pasta was a chorizo style mushroom stroganoff that was so good we came back the next day to get it again. Just. Perfect. I love you guys. I will fly to Chch JUST for this.

The food here is awesome, love the atmosphere too and the staff are so friendly and lovely 😊 slowly making our way through the menu, tried the burgers, burger plates, loaded fries, cheese board and pate so far! Also the house red wine is the best wine ever🍷
