Good vegan cake - Edit
This place looked really nice. It's all gluten free and I think mostly vegan, but the staff didn't speak English when we were in. Fortunately, the cakes and quiche were labelled as vegan, so we got some cake. It was a really lovely cinnamon and carrot cake. The sponge was so moist, it was absolutely delicious!
It's right next door to Waipawa, if you want to combine a visit to the two.

Pleasant place where to enjoy cup of coffee from Prague roastery or organic tea. Piece of homemade gluten free and vegan cake or muffin, homemade bowl of soup or all day buckwheat, millet or sorghum porridge.
