Unexpected vegan perfection

Coming to a rural area like the Schwarzwald, especially in a traditional looking hotel like this, I was expecting an adapted typical German dish. But I was pleasantly surprised to be served a very high quality four course vegan meal. I got not choice in the matter, like every customer you get whatever the kitchen makes that evening. They do that reduce waste. I got served an asian salad with lots of taste as a starter, followed by a complex mustard soup, main course was spiced up pulled jack fruit and rice. Desert a sweet vegan ice cream with apple mouse and crumble. I will for sure use this as a black forest base with my vegan friends next time.

Pros: Very taste full, Local organic and environmentally aware , Amazing service

Cons: They still serve dead animals , You have no choice, except for the vegan request
