Hidden gem - all vegan in the evening - Edit
You won't stumble upon this great restaurant by chance, especially as a tourist, as it is located in the unattractive suburban town of Emmenbruecke.
But it is well worth a detour and not far from Lucerne (7 minutes by train). The restaurant is located within a former industrial park that has its own train station, so it's very easily accessible.
The evening menu is all vegan. They have faux-meat as wellas traditionally vegan options. Everything we had there (we were three, two vegans and an omnivore) was delicious, even the omnivore loved his faux-meat main.
The portions were huge, but as it has been a while since our visit, it is quite possible that they have reduced portion size, as other guests also commented on that.
For dessert, we had tasty ice cream in a pot from "The Green Fairy" (Swiss vegan ice cream brand).
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We'll definitely visit this charming restaurant again on our next visit to Lucerne.

Man erwartet nicht, in Emmen ein so tolles Restaurant zu finden. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich, modern mit schöner ruhiger Gartenterrasse.
die vegane Karte ist vom Feinsten. Tolle vegane Gerichte mit Riesenauswahl. Wir kommen wieder.

Great Vegan Food! Must try - Edit
we were on holiday in lucerne and the gersag was highly recommanded to us. We had dinner there and it was great. Tasty food and the stuff was really friendly. I loved the sliced "veal" with rösti. Nicely decorated and a beautiful garden.

Schnell zu Mittag gegessen und schwer beeindruckt vom aufmerksamen Service und einem tolles Okra-Yamswurzel-Ragout mit Belugalinsen genossen, was wirklich Geschmacksexplosionen auszulösen vermochte! Plus Salat und Dessert für unter 20 CHF! Chapeau!

Vegane Menues - Edit
Im Gersag haben beide Liebhaber Chancen was super gutes zu essen. Es gubt täglich Ein Veganes und ein Fleischgericht. Zudem gibt es noch eine sehr tolle und abwechslungsreiche Karte. Ebenfalls mit Veganengerichten. Die Portionen sind nicht gerade klein.
Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und wahnsinnig freundlich. Tolle Atmosphäre!
Ich würde dieses Restaurant allen weiterempfehlen.
