Serves meat, vegan options available. A cozy contemporary Italian restaurant with clearly labeled vegan choices. The menu changes, but choices include items like roasted veggies, cauliflower steaks, salads, and pasta (all of which can be gluten free.) Has a good selection of beer and wine. Staff is conscious of other allergies as well. The Caberet upstairs has its own menu with more vegan options. Reported closed July 2022.

Vegan in Little Italy - Edit
Little Italy is an authentic gem tucked into the Baltimore neighborhood scene. Most of the restaurants are loaded with sealife, animal, and animal product menu selections. The owners of Germano's Piattini have set themselves apart by offering vegans and vegetarians a place to experience "Little Italy". There are extensive vegan options that are clearly labelled within the menu as well as a separate vegan section. We enjoyed the vegan cauliflower "meatballs", flatbread and two pasta dishes - all were delicious. Spoke with the new manager and he is excited to spotlight the vegan options, so we were excited to do our bit and show veg community support.

If you are looking for a quality Italian meal this is the place to go! They have clearly marked vegan and vegetarian items on the menu. The staff at the restaurant is very knowledge and will ensure your dietary restrictions are being met. I enjoyed the Bruschette Caponata and cauliflower steak!

Amazing Flatbread - Edit
I really, really enjoyed the flatbread and will probably dream about it for as long as I live. The beet salad was good, too, but sparse for the price. The cauliflower steak was decent, but had a lot of olive oil in the dish (giant pool!) and wasn't really filling when it was all said and done. The owners are great people who have a vegan daughter and like to keep a pulse on trending plant-based dishes. The menu clearly labels vegan items and there are many to choose from.

Nice! - Edit
I ordered the cauliflower steak, which was absolutely delicious! When I placed my order I verified that the gremolata was truly vegan and sans anchovies. It was so good to be able to order off of the menu and not have to get pasta (especially since I've been overdoing it on the pasta lately). Just a heads up, even though the pattate fritte is labeled as being vegan on the menu, they are fried in the same oil as everything else. They may be willing to make it separately but I didn't ask. This place is located in trendy Little Italy, so there's a good chance that there will be some kind of event going on in the area (bonus!). Great place for a date.

Cons: street parking may be difficult during an event, double check the vegan status of menu item
