Serves fish, vegan options available. About 80% of the menu is vegan, including all desserts. The noodle items are the only non-vegan items as they have fish stock in them. Does not use meat, eggs or dairy at all. The staff is knowledgable about veganism so they know what they can and cannot serve you. They serve traditional Japanese food and desserts. Open Tue-Sun 11:00am-5:00pm.

Surprise delight on Naoshima - Edit
A well balanced treat; pleasant ambience, superb value vegan set menu for 850yen, vegan desserts, and friendly staff. Would rate five stars if possible.

Tried to rate this 5/5 stars but the app doesn't allow it because it's been listed as "vegetarian" - anyway. I'm not sure how this hasn't been rated yet as the food is great and the restaurant itself was beautiful. We got the lunch set and it was incredible. Worth the little detour whilst visiting the island.
