Yummy and Friendly - Edit
We arrived at Genesis and were warmly greeted by the owner Willy. He had just finished baking some vegan conchas and showed us around the bakery with a free taste. We sat down and ordered food, which came out quickly.
Read moreWe ordered tacos de chicharron, baguette with seitan and a hot dog. Al the food was tasty. The chicharron had a nice crunchy texture. The baguette was nice with fresh in-house bread. My favorite was the hot dog. It was bigger than anticipated, a great deal for the price. The hot dog had a great spice 👌.
The meal was very satisfying and the experience was made better by the hospitality of the owner

This place was conveniently right next to our hotel and I’m so glad it was! Super cute interior, friendly staff and delicious food. I got the Hawaiian burger and loved it! I’ll come back again if I’m ever in villahermosa!

It took me a few tries to find this place and I am soo glad I kept trying. What a great spot. Big menu with lots of choices. They even had big salads which I had been craving after days of impossible burgers and seitan tacos. The food I got was fantastic. I got a lentil mushroom burger (the bun was a little dry so ask for more vegenaise or sauce) the Tacos Genesis and the Ranchero Ensalada. Ate the burger right away will eat the salad later and then the tacos for breakfast.

Absolutely fantastic vegan burgers, all home-made, and the ingredients are so fresh. Very generous and kind staff, and the surroundings are beautiful. Very much worth the journey.

Healthy vegan food and pastries - Edit
Overall best quality vegan food in Villahermosa, options are plentiful ranging from burgers hotdogs sandwiches pizza and pastries such as cinnamon rolls. A healthy spin on the dishes which include using multigrain flour. The staff are so lovely we even got given complimentary coconut biscuits after our meal. Came back twice and was excellent each time. I recommend the hawain burger and the focaccia sandwich. The setting is beautiful it feels like a little jungle haven in the city.

Bit far from centre, take a taxi, 10 minutes, 45 pesos. I had a very nice fruit salad, a natural blended green juice and a green tasty salad. I like to fill my stomach and this did the trick, approx $250.

Pros: Interesting vegan menu, friendly staff
Cons: Not fond of Vegan "cheese", it was a , bit overpowering, I'd ask for them, to leave it out next time

The atmosphere is fantastic. The food incredible. the home made bread is a must. I had 2 hot dogs and a Hawaiian veggie burger for 100 pesos. Sooooo good.
