So pleased we found this restaurant. - Edit
After a long day sightseeing we needed a healthy meal and the food here was perfect.
Read moreI showed them a card that listed all the foods that are not vegan. ( In Japanese language). I got the card from the book, 'The Vegan Guide to Tokyo' by Chiara Terzuolo. I have used it multiple times and it has been invaluable. Another option is to Google a list and show it to wait staff.
We were offered a meal set, minus the miso soup as that had fish stock.
Delicious food!
Fast turnover type restaurant, so served quickly and we were out within the hour, which suited us.
Recommended.
PS: We went back tonight and different vegan option meals were available.
A Bibimbap and also deep fried gluten cutlets. Both meals were delicious, so full of flavor. I took photos this time!
The staff were just as helpful, they double checked what ingredients we didn't want and then adapted the meal to suit.

Lovely healthy place - Edit
Must say that I really like this chain. They always have healthy options. The curry is good and the vegetable rice bowl too. Ensure that you explain what you don’t eat because in the side dishes there may be animal products.

Good for tea/snack - Edit
Had an afternoon snack with my Japanese cousin here; I was disappointed to see that they do not have an English menu nor speak English that fluently so that I had to turn to my cousin and own (basic) Japanese skills to find out what is vegan. The chocolate orange cake and Iced soy milk chocolate were delicious though!

Cons: No English menu/communication

Great little place. - Edit
The staff don’t speak much English, but understood what I needed. The miso soup was not recommended as it had fish in it. They will change the main course to make it vegetarian. Menu was all in Japanese, but we used google translate and the staff recommended something.
