REALLY GOOD VEGAN PIZZA- WHEN ACTUALLY MADE VEGAN - Edit

I'm giving Gelsosomo's pizzeria a 3 star rating because their vegan pizza, which I also get on cauliflower crust because of a wheat allergy, is definitely one of the best vegan pizzas I have ever had. The vegan cheese is literally so good. The cauliflower crust is good. This being said, they are not good at consistently making sure the pizza is actually vegan, even if you order carefully and they repeat your order back to you correctly AND your ticket has vegan cheese on it and you tell them you also have a dairy allergy. I have been given actual dairy cheese on at least two occasions. I know this because it smelled like barnyard feet like real cheese does and it gave me a horrible allergic reaction to the dairy. That being said, I would eat here again in hopes of having their excellent actually vegan pizza. It definitely compares to some of the good vegan options pizza spots in Chicago, and hooks it up with the cheese more (when it is actually vegan cheese. the dairy cheese they can keep.) gluten free and vegan options available for the same pizza. large vegan and gluten free pizza available. make sure to ask for vegan marinara, regular sauce has parmesan

Pros: really good vegan cheese and they hook it up, gluten free& vegan options available on same pizza, open late

Cons: order inaccuracy. will give u dairy cheese, even if you ordered and paid for vegan, expensive

Bullpen is still a good spot! - Edit

Veggie pizza with non-dairy sauce & Vegan cheese is still good here. Chose to sit at the bar this time where bartender service was attentive.

Appreciate that they offer Vegan!
