A 100% vegan/vegetarian ice cream parlor serves real Italian gelato. Located in Chelsea with numerous vegan gelato options. Also serves pastries, coffee and tea. As of Dec. 2015, has another location in Milan. Open Mon-Fri 8:30am-9:30pm, Sat 9:30am-9:30pm, Sun 10:30am-9:30pm.

Real Italian Vegan Gelato - Edit
This gelato parlor is the NYC branch of a Milanese gelato and pastry shop. The pastries are not vegan, but look ok. The real draw is the vegan gelato (they call the vegan gelatos "sorbetto"). The fruit sorbetto said are nice; the more gelato-style flavors are stunningly good. We had the chocolate and the hazelnut sorbettos, both were excellent with the hazelnut sorbetto the real standout. Haven't yet had the opportunity to try the pistachio sorbetto but am looking forward to it. The sorbettos aren't marked as vegan, you have to ask, but the counter staff clearly know what vegan is and which of the gelatos are vegan.
