I had to ask if they have vegan gelato since they are not marked on the counter.
Read moreThe fellow mentioned pistachio, dark chocolate, hazelnut, all the fruit flavors, and mojito - which he brought from the kitchen and asked if I knew of the mojito drink lol.
It was creamy and taste genuine (mojito, pistachio, hazelnut $6.50euros).
I went ahead and ordered another 3 scoops (strawberry, pear, and green apple) and it truly tastes like fruits 🍎
I asked for a sample of melon, & he added two small scoops of it and lemon on top of my gelato for me😄

This gelateria offers vegan fruit ice and dark chocolate and hazelnut and pistachio are also vegan made with rice milk. It was very delicious and the many Italian guests demonstrate that it is really a good place to eat ice cream! We were very happy.

Best vegan ice cream in Trieste - Edit
Historic ice cream parlour, well worth its fame. Some of the flavours are just accidentally vegan, so they are not clearly marketed as such but they compete in the main league. These include hazelnut, pistachio and dark chocolate, in addition to all fruit ones - but good to ask. The servers were on top of it and knew how to advise. The ice cream is outstanding. You would never guess it is vegan and it is not surprising they just sell it as regular one. Highly recommended. It is worth the queue you may face due to its popularity. The prices are standard for Trieste (1.5 EUR for a small cone/cup and 3 EUR for a medium one).

One of the best ice-creams in Trieste, with very fair price 1.5 € per scoop. They offer a few vegan flavours which are not clearly labeled (plus fruity ones) so you just have to ask staff. I've tried pistaccio, dark cholocate and hazelnut with rice milk so far, all very tasty. I only wish for more vegan flavours.
