CLOSED: Gelateria Patagonia

When asked, the assistant didn't seem to know the meaning of the word "vegan" but, after explaining "no eggs, no milk, no animals", he told me that all the fruit flavours were made that way.

I tried mango and barbary figs and it was very good. Soft and thick but a little bit too sweet for me.

All the fruit flavours in this gelateria are vegan except (if you consider this a fruit!) the coconut. They also have vegan versions of the chocolate and hazelenut (nocciola) in a freezer if you ask them for it.

When I visited this Gelataria, they had three varieties of soya ice cream. I tried the hazelnut and chocolate flavours (but they also had coffee). Delicious.

the gelato was creamy, thick, and had unique flavors. very delicious also. staff was easy to ask about egg and dairy. they said that all the fruit flavors (except coconut) are without milk and egg. and the cones have egg in them.

very reasonable price also. the most expensive is 4 scoops is €4. location is good also, near the arena/piazza bra.

we ate there twice. we tried the fig, mango, pear, peach, passion fruit, melon and mint/lime (can you tell we loved them?!). the mint/lime tastes like a mojito, yum. the fig was another favorite.
