Had the dark chocolate gelato and it was delicious. Staff were friendly and talked us through the flavours in English. Just wish there were more flavours because the non-vegan options were extensive!

Gelateria Il Doge is defiantly worth a visit if you want something sweet and refreshing. There are plenty of vegan options available and it is situated in a quieter square in Venice which my boyfriend and I enjoyed sitting in, in the evening.

A good selection of vegan options, the shop assistant was very happy to show us which ones were vegan. We got the soy hazelnut and raspberry sorbet. Both were lovely and the hazelnut not too sweet which I like. Would come again.

The area is really nice and completely different to the more touristy parts of the city. The flavours itself are not labeled as vegan, so you need to ask and communicate - which is great to get in touch with people, but I also understand that this can be quite intimidating. It is worth it though😄

Delicious! I had the hazelnut one day and chocolate another. Both were very rich. They also have fruit flavors that are vegan. The staff is really nice and are happy to show which flavors are vegan.

Highly recommend! One of the cheaper options and the hazelnut flavor was AMAZING. So sad I only has 2 days in Venice, but if I ever go back I'm coming straight back here. Many vegan options including hazelnut, chocolate and several fruit options.

Friendly staff were happy to point to their vegan soya-based options - chocolate, chilli chocolate, hazelnut, and raspberry chocolate - as well as the various fruit sorbets of course. I had the hazelnut which was beautifully creamy and flavoursome! Would definitely recommend.

We stumbled across this gelato shop and saw the vegan ok sign outside. The vegan flavors at the moment include mixed berry, strawberry, lemon and dark chocolate. We shared a small mixed berry and were happy.

I got a cone of chocolate and hazelnut gelato, and it was amazing! The portion was so huge I had to tackle it pretty quickly to avoid it melting everywhere. It was really creamy and the flavours were perfect. Recommended!

Accidentally found this place and they have chocolate and hazelnut vegan flavors besides the normal fruity sorbets, which actually also looked very tasty and creamy. I got the chocolate and hazelnut in a cone (also vegan!) and it was super tasty :)
