Vistro Cafe is a new vegetarian (vegan friendly) restaurant in New Rochelle. They're open for lunch most days of the week, and dinner less frequently. I've eaten there many times for dinner when they have live music over the past year, and I've been impressed by the selection of food (and also by the great music). Usually they have 2-4 dinner entrees, a couple of soups, some sandwiches, and some salads. But every few weeks the menu changes. Most of the time I've really enjoyed it, and I would give it a 5 cow rating but reduced it to 4 cows because my dinner partner wasn't as impressed. The food is fresh, mostly from local farms, and is both healthy and tasty. Currently they don't have a license for beer/wine, so it's bring your own. This keeps costs down, so a typical dinner for 2 is about $20-30. When they have live music, it's an excellent value, even with a small cover charge. I highly recommend this place. It's still very new and evolving, so check for hours before making a trip here.

Cons: New place-still figuring out what works, No beer/wine (but BYOB saves $)
