I absolutely love it. Tastes amazing. - Edit
Very quick and convenient food if you are in the area (and it's a pretty busy area you may find yourself working or staying here) It's also tasty , tasting like Southeast Asian vegan food as opposed to the Thai vegan food you find in Los Angeles. Have been 3 times in 3 days.

Good cheap food - Edit
For 60 baht you get three toppings and rice, not sure what the all the hate is about as that is extremely cheap even tho the portions are small

Tasty but small cold portions - Edit
I enjoyed my food from here, I had the tofu, brocolli and rice. The portions were a little on the small side and the food was cold which was a shame. I would go back though if I was in the area.

don't bother going there - Edit
you can choose to add either 1 (40Baht), 2 (50Baht) or 3 (60Baht) extras to your rice, no matter how you combine it.. it will most likely will not be enough to satisfy the hunger > super small portions (seriously I chose the tofu and I got like two tiny pieces) - what a joke! the lady there tried to manipulate me into getting 3 toppings - taste was ok, but the experience was overall cold (food and atmosphere wise) - unfortunately cannot recommend going there!

Cheap cold vegan food - Edit
I had rice and two main dishes the cost cheap 50 baht. The portion sizes have got so much smaller. I had two bits of tofu and a few pieces of veg. The plate shrunk in size its cheap and cold wouldn't make a special trip here but its the only vegan stall in the Ekkamai Gateway Mall.

Little food stall selling your usual Thai Vegan choices. Soups and numerous tofu dishes. Generally lukewarm food. Cheap and easy. 40 baht rice and 1 dish. 50 baht rice and 2 dishes. 60 baht rice and 3 dishes.

Great little food stall - Edit
Nice little food stall for a quick lunch or dinner. This isn't a place you would take a date but it's great for a quick meal. The woman who makes the food seems to care very much about her food and to that extent told me she uses more expensive oil and ingredients.

Below average - Edit
I wouldn't recommend coming all the way here for a meal unless you have run out of options. Food is too salty and oily and only a few options to choose from which are all already cooked, displayed in the counter and served in room temperature. Fresh vegetables seems are not an option here which made my experience very disappointing.

Decent food court food - Edit
Usually a few options to choose from, all of which taste good but are very salty. Size is a little small, and of course the food is served at room temperature but would be better hot. Not a bad option if you're in the area. The lady who runs the stall is very friendly and speaks English.

Appetizer - Edit
Found the portions too small, but there is always the option of getting a second plate... Very good location inside the food court of a mall. Just look out for the yellow sign.

I'm a good court in ekkamai. potato and pumpkin was hard and under cooked. Very small serving that left me still very hungry - I really don't eat that much either. Rude service. well below standard of what is normally available in Bangkok.

all natural; expensive for food stall - Edit
This review is for the food stall in the "Urban Market" at Ground Floor, not the one on the 4th floor.
Read moreThe owner is really nice and seems so passionate about selling vegan food. She ensured me that her food is completely without msg, egg, milk and milk products. Rice (less than the usual portion you get) with two different choices of the buffet is 60 baht. Unfortunately the portion is really half of the size you get at similar food stalls in Bangkok, but then again it's all natural.

Found it! - Edit
I saw that there was a vegan stall in gateway but had never actually found it. Today, while waiting for a rainstorm to pass I took the time to look. It's part of the stall selling spring rolls and has a sign in English saying vegetarian food as well as the Chinese 'jay' symbol out front. The woman serving spoke great English and was really friendly, letting me try lots of dishes for free. The mushroom dish was my particular favourite as well as the spring rolls and taro cakes. She ask everything was natural and free from msg. It was the normal room temperature food and nice and cheap and easy. I think some dishes may have had egg in but it was easy to ask for no egg. Will definitely be returning for quick easy dinners to take home!
