Less vegan friendly then expected - Edit
Menu changed compared to the photos in the Happy Cow app. There are still a few vegan options (1 main, 1 starter that you can make vegan, and the soup of the day when I came), but they’re quite expensive IMO. For example a few roasted root veggies as a main for 22£. You can make the starters vegan as well, which will cost you a little bit less than 10£. Gratuity not included, so you also have to add that on top. It tasted good though, and at least I had something to eat.

Unexpected, pleased nonetheless - Edit
At the time, I was just wandering around, found this cozy spot and enjoyed a warm meal. Nothing too amazing, just happy they were able to accommodate me.

Good food - Edit
There wasn't a huge vegan range but enough to give a few options. Had the veg burger and chips, was pretty good although not much flavour - added Chillis. The chips were amazing though!

Get the haggis - Edit
The haggis was one of the best meals I had in Scotland. Tomato soup came with vegan butter which is always a nice surprise.

Delicious food - Edit
We had to book here as first night was full. Separate vegetarian menu with vegan options. I ordered the roasted tomato ragout with black rice, kale pesto and chickpea rice, which was superb! Had cookies with vegan ice cream for dessert which was quite rich but equally delicious.

Skip the burger - Edit
I wish I’d avoided the burger based on the other reviews, but we’d just returned from Ben Nevis and didn’t think anything could go wrong with a burger... But it was pretty terrible. It was essentially cooked quinoa formed into a patty. Very bland. Luckily the chips were tasty! But wish we’d opted for one of the other mains. Good to see a separate veggie/vegan menu. We arrived around 6pm on a Wednesday night and got the last pub table; the restaurant was fully booked for the night and soon there was a 1 hour waiting list for pub tables. Best to head down early or make a booking, as a lot of people got turned away.

Nice place with separate vegan menu - Edit
The soup was lovely and came with vegan spread for the bread which was a thoughtful touch. I also had the quinoa burger which was filling but it was quite bland.

Good - Edit
These guys have a veggie menu so they are trying...
Read moreI had the curry which was REALLY spicy (I am a fan of spicy but this I wasn’t ready for) which wasn’t really advertised on the menu.
My husband had the ratatouille, it was also okay.
The vegan haggis was actually really good!
It’s worth going as the atmosphere is really nice and they understand the vegan concept.
Pros: Veggie menu with clearly marked options
Cons: Meals were average

Tastes good, but wasn't "woow" - Edit
They had an extra veggie card.
Read moreWe had the vegan burger.
It was easy, but the patty had the consistency of some not cooked dough.
A bit expensive for this burger.

Separated Vegan menu - Edit
They have a separated Vegan menu, incl. vegan haggis. (Wich was Good) Also tried the curry and burger. The flatbread that came with the curry and the burger were both a bit burned.. Dessert was nice ! Altogether, the taste was ok/Good but a bit plain.
