Very tasty food. The portion sizes were ever so slightly smaller than I’d have liked but it doesn’t take away from how delicious it was. I’d definitely recommend the Thali which is a taster of several dishes.

We noticed by coincidence that this place had vegan options and decided to book a table for that evening. As a starter, we ordered the pani puri, described on the menu as "India's favourite street food: puffed dough balls filled with seasoned mashed potatoes and vermicelli served with a dash of tamarind and cumin mix". We had high expectations from this description, but were a bit disappointed that the reality didn't match what we expected. The dough balls were really thin and crunchy, and were served with 2 watery sauces that were both rather sweet.
Read moreAs a main dish, we had the spinach dal and the kala chana masala with chapati, a type of Indian flatbread. These were decent options, however we are used to an outstanding Indian restaurant in Ghent with the most amazing dals and vegan garlic naan, so we were automatically comparing and ended up a bit disappointed in the end. Either way a decent restaurant.

Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Very pretty. Like I said, a lot of vegan options (everything else is vegetarian). We ordered two mains and got some papadums with two dips and rice alongside it. The food was very delicious.
