Pretty good - Edit
We went here by pure chance and we’re positively surprised.
Read moreTo counter some of the other reviews, the waiter was really nice to us. Also the service was quite fast but to be fair when we went it wasn’t that busy yet.
Almost the entire menu is vegan, with a few vegetarian options. We asked for spicy and they delivered!
So all in all it was a good experience.

Decent - Edit
Great selection of dishes with some new things, we’ve never tried before. Asking for spicy actually gets you a hot dish. The waiting time was very long, it took nearly 1,5h to get our food, though we suspect we were forgotten, as the waiters seemed extremely stressed and a couple that arrived an hour after us got their food before we got ours. Dish sizes veer on the small side, but with a lot of rice we ended up feeling full.
Read morePros: Lots of options, Great flavors
Cons: Small portions, too little sauce for the rice, Long wait time

Really not great - Edit
I'm the total anomaly in this review section so take with a pinch of salt. I was really not impressed with our meal. We started with veggie pakora- literally the driest pakora I've ever eaten. One piece was like traditional pakora, two pieces were potato fried in the same batter, and two were aubergine fried in the same batter. So not really what I was expecting but that wouldn't bother me at all if it had been decent. It was really awful to be honest. Dry and tasteless and seemed as if it had been fried a long time ago, not fresh at all.
Read moreThe mains we got were tofu tikka masala, and aloo baingan (potatoes and aubergines). We got a side of rice and garlic bhurata (like a paratha) and also got a side of the vegan raita. The raita was really thin and watery with hardly any cucumber in it. The curries were fine, but I really do wonder if the tofu one had dairy in it. I know it's on the vegan menu but it had some sort of cream on top...I went two nights ago and I've had a dodgy tummy since about 5 hours after visiting to a day and a half later. Might not be related and it isn't fair of me to speculate but everything just left me feeling...gross. It was like a meal you'd get at a really rubbish takeaway when there isn't anything else for 20 miles around and you've no choice. I cook Indian food a LOT so I'm aware I might be picky but I'm honestly not hard to please, give me something vegan and I will usually love it. I hate giving negative reviews but this was honestly crap. The service wasn't great either, not a smile to be seen! Everywhere else we've eaten in bruges has been AWESOME so not representative as a whole which is good!

Tasty vegan food - Edit
After finding very little other than pasta or burgers as an option in restaurants in the city this was a little gem. I’ll be honest in saying the service is very slow but it’s small and there’s only one waitress and one chef who cooks to order, but it’s so worth the wait. The food is amazing and really tasty. We ordered 2 thali plates and weren’t disappointed. Each has a Choice of 3 curries ( a dhal, lentils and one vegetable with mock meat ) rice, salad, popadom and bread plus a sweet dish. Around £18-£20 each plus the price of beer on top. Would definitely recommend if your visiting. Check opening times though and book a table as it gets busy. Restaurant does not serve any meat options. I would give it five stars but it is vegetarian as well as vegan. #Veganuary

Cozy - Edit
A small family run Indian Vegetarian restaurant. The service was a little slow on a very busy evening close to Christmas but the food was worth waiting for. Mainly Tofu or Paneer but the sauces were authentic, fresh and tasted great. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely lovely - Edit
Such a great restaurant. The staff was really nice and the food was perfect! There were plenty of delicious vegan options to chose from along with all of the extras made vegan. They had vegan nann and vegan mango lassis (best part)!! It is a great place for lunch or dinner (I went there for both during my 2 day stay!)

Beyond my expectations - Edit
First time it happens to me ever. I went into the restaurant during working hours , sat down , another couple entered as well . Only for the waitress to tell us that the kitchen is closed and when we exclaimed she told us the chef is not feeling well and he can’t cook anymore today, she directed us to her other restaurant Taj Mahal.
Read moreI told her I was looking forward to this meal because Indian used to be my favorite cuisine but since i became vegan I can’t enjoy most of the dishes because of the butter and yogurt used almost in every dish. The couple left , and I took my time in the restaurant researching other options to go to . A few moments later the waitress came to tell me that it is ok now . The chef has taken some medicine and will cook me my meal. To be honest my expectations were very low at this point. A sick chef who wants to leave might not produce the best dishes, but to my surprise he produced one of the best tikka masalas I have tried ( tofu) and samosas . Excellent food , excellent service, can’t wait to go back to try more dishes.
Pros: Entire vegan menu of starters & main dishes, Incredibly Tasty , Excellent service

If you are vegan and seeing Bruges, this is your lifeboat - Edit
Food was great here. Vegan options are clearly marked, which is heavenly. I had a tofu tikka masala and some chapatis which were very nice. Garlic N Greens made our night in Bruges much easier, plus we avoided eating more frites this way.
