The curry's were very tasty. 4 stars for a huge vegan menue. The portion sizes were very good. For a medium it could have been spicier to my taste. The garlic bread was very delicious, but you just get one single piece for 4€. Therefore, and because the service was very reserved, not 5 Stars.

Wir waren gestern mit unserem Baby/Kleinkind dort und waren wirklich begeistert. Alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt, die veganen Hauptspeisen sind separat aufgeführt (große Auswahl), nur bei den Vorspeisen ist nicht gelabelt, sodass wir hier fragen mussten. Die Bedienung war sehr nett, allerdings dauerte es ein bisschen zu lange dafür, dass nicht viel los war.

Read moreHad poppadoms with vegan dips (chutney and raita), tofu masala, spinach Dahl (asked for hot and it was so spicy but really tasty), 2 x chapati’s and given a big bowl of complimentary rice.
My girlfriend and I really enjoyed it and was nice to have somewhere with tons of vegan options which isn’t that common in Bruges.
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Complimentary rice
Cons: Not cheap but fair

Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker. Alles ist vegetarisch und es gibt viel Veganes. Das Essen war würzig. Wir wurden auch gefragt welchen Schärfegrad wir bevorzugen, was mir zu Gute kam, da ich nicht so gerne scharf esse, mein Freund aber schon.

Read moreThe pappadams were flavourless, the chana masala was overpowered with tomato sauce and had no heat despite asking for medium, and the salad was two slices of carrots and two slices of cucumbers. Pakoras were battered and deep fried slabs of tofu served with something very close to ketchup. It felt as though it was Indian food made by white people (although I cook Indian a lot and it’s better than this).
I’ve had a lot of Indian in my day and this was very mediocre. It filled me up so it gets 3 stars but I’m feeling generous. For a lunch special the wait was painstakingly slow and I was one of only three people there.
Must have been an off day!

Nice food, a lot of sauce though. Loved the garlic bread!
Service was swift and friendly, and food came swiftly (but there was just one other party of 3 present, who were already served).
Rather small restaurant. Not accessible, step to get in. One toilet at the back, no accessible toilet. Handfull of outdoor seatings in front, with view at Belfry.

Amazing Authentic Indian - Edit
We went there with a group of five. Some vegans, some vegetariens, some meateaters. Service was lovely. The food was very good. It looked fabulous and tasted even better. I had no time to take pictures, because the smell was sooooo good we just had to start! We all left with warm round bellies! I would really recommend this place.

Curry heaven for vegans - Edit
If you're looking for Indian curry, definitely give this little restaurant a chance! Whole section for vegan curries with mushrooms, kidney beans, other kidney beans, aloo ghoobi (potato and cauliflower), etc and even a little vegan yoghurt (although this one wasn't that good unfortunately), which all cost 15€. Especially if you like it spicy and hot, tell them and you will enjoy it!

We noticed by coincidence that this place had vegan options and decided to book a table for that evening. As a starter, we ordered the pani puri, described on the menu as "India's favourite street food: puffed dough balls filled with seasoned mashed potatoes and vermicelli served with a dash of tamarind and cumin mix". We had high expectations from this description, but were a bit disappointed that the reality didn't match what we expected. The dough balls were really thin and crunchy, and were served with 2 watery sauces that were both rather sweet.

These were decent options, however we are used to an outstanding Indian restaurant in Ghent with the most amazing dals and vegan garlic naan, so we were automatically comparing and ended up a bit disappointed in the end. Either way a decent restaurant.
