Stunning Vegan - Edit
First time here. Cute town with lots of shops. Found parking on the streets, but I can imagine that when it’s primetime season it would be difficult to find parking. This location had several seating options if you wanted to in and of course you could always pick up to dine out. It was a Wednesday afternoon and it was packed. Very friendly service. Extensive menu.one option more delicious than the other. Nice size dessert menu. Ice cream and smoothies also available.
Read moreI started with the chickpeas tomato soup, which also comes with a piece of focaccia bread. Tasting and a good size for a cup. Moved onto their Portobello Panini. Flavorful and a good serving size. Also comes with a side salad. Had their carrot cake, which was in my opinion delicious. I had a difficult time choosing things because everything looked so good especially looking around the restaurant and seeing what everyone was eating. Very much looking forward to coming back here again. The one thing that I will say that was a little bit of a negative is that in my opinion it’s a little bit on the pricey side, but that is subjective. For my pockets, it was a little on the pricey side..
Pros: Friendly, Warm and inviting , Tasty food and good serving size
Cons: A little pricey

Amazing good and service - Edit
This is not my first visit, but I'm just as impressed this time. The staff and owner are very friendly. The food is amazing. This time I ordered carrot cake with pecan praline and coconut filling, and also chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. Both were delicious.

Very Very Good - Edit
Food was exceptionally good. Menu was extensive but also they had specials.
Read moreStarted with tofu satay and stuffed mushrooms. My entree was the Veggie Lasagna with no noodles. Yeah good!!
Finished with the pecan pie which I thoroughly enjoyed. To note my brother had the brownie a la mode which was massive and sinful. Be sure to order that if it’s on the specials.
Nice little restaurant along the shopping area. Don’t miss it.

Delightful lunch spot - Edit
Garden Cafe was our favorite stop on our little vacay up north. We stopped for lunch and to charge our car nearby before a hike at overlook mountain. Highly recommend checking out this cafe - it has delicious sandwiches, burgers, bowls and desserts. We also got hot chocolate (so good) and tea. Be sure to take a look at their specials! We also got the cashew brie which came with a lovely rosemary blackberry compote and fresh toasted baguette which was possibly my favorite. The carrot cake was super yummy too with praline pecans (& it’s gluten free!)

I haven't been to Garden Cafe (or Woodstock) for at least four or five years. Glad to hear it's still as good as ever.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? - Edit
It's a Woodstock institution for a reason. Everything I've had here has been fantastic. Caesar salads are on the list of non vegan foods I miss and theirs is delicious. Ditto for the bread pudding. Everything is made with care and interest, and the staff are always wonderful. It's a great blend of the "old fashioned" vegetarian restaurant and 21st century vegan creativity.

I literally dream of this place - Edit
I first came here in 2016, and was blown away. I recently returned seven years later, and the hype I gave it was absolutely justified. It was just as amazing as I remembered. Their juices, smoothies, entrees, soups... everything is incredible. Especially the pesto pasta and lasagna. An absolute must if you're in the area, and even if you're not 😆

Unbelievable - Edit
I just happened to be passing this place on the way home from a road trip. It didn’t just hit the spot, it took the spot of my favorite vegan restaurant. No exaggeration. It was perfect in every way. The food was insanely good and had a homemade quality I don’t think I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. The staff was super friendly and efficient. And best of all, the atmosphere was amazing. Very peaceful, relaxing, and communal in a small town way. I loved every second of being here and I’ll be returning for sure!

Deliciousness - Edit
Tasty tasty tasty, my dish was tasty. I had the red lentil loaf and this dish was flavorful and filling. The steamed kale was on point, the apples, the sauce. I enjoyed the whole thing and filled for the rest of the day. I also had a delicious juice which I was able to order combining many veggies and fruits. Enjoy your lunch here😄

How did I miss the Caesar salad? - Edit
We were staying at the Gray Barn at the nearby farm sanctuary and just had to come here for dinner. Gorgeous outside seating is very dog friendly. We saw some incredible canines, lol. The menu is massive, and then they have specials too, so hard to decide. The wine and beer selection is excellent. I would describe the menu as hearty large-portion comfort food and also fancy stuff. Sweet friendly service. I wish they stayed open a little later than 8pm but they seem to seat up until then. Always packed, yet you can always somehow get a table. We parked in the free lot a block away and saw a doe up close right at the edge of the woods which is exactly what happened in the same spot the last time we were here last year!
