Under new ownership, not as v-f - Edit
The restaurant used to be fabulous but in early 2025 went under new ownership and went downhill. Fryers are mixed with fish they batter so not vegan friendly or gf. This is an issue with the fried avocados, chips, fries and apparently the cauliflower as instructed by our waiter. Only item veg-friendly is a burrito without fries. Menu will be changing soon but already cancelled items like vegan chorizo and some listed drinks specials.

Cons: Limited options, Risky for allergies, Many items not available

Quick taco stop - Edit
Retro restaurant with cool vibe. It’s clear the place to get quick TexMex is here. Great staff.
Read moreWe were on a road trip and got the avocado tacos with rice and beans, & the Huge burrito, which was. We had a problem with our order, partially my fault, and they were most accommodating. FYI all foods are fried in same fryer.
The menu lists avocado and cauliflower as good protein sources. As a dietitian, I can assure you they are not. If you want to avoid fried food, you only can have salad.
If you’re into veg cheese, it is available. Liked the queso!
No parking, but street parking is cheap. Avoid the Metro Center parking.
The food was seasoned well and perfect for filling you up for the next 200 miles.
Pros: Vibe, Staff, Simple good food
Cons: All foods fried in same oil , Cauliflower &avocado not protein source, Beans really salty

Excellent food-vegan friendly - Edit
Almost everything can be made vegan with fried cauliflower, fried avocado, vegan crema and vegan cheese. Had the Garage Burrito and Fried Avocado Tacos, both excellent. Highly recommend.

Sad but true - Edit
I really do love Garage when they make the vegan options correctly, but so many times I’ve had orders that I couldn’t eat. I was very specific about the vegan options but unfortunately something was always wrong. I did get one correct order and it was very good, but it’s not enough to make me come back again.

Mediocre - Edit
These tacos are terrible. I can’t believe all the positive reviews here. First, there have been many times a vegan version was ordered and it still came with cheese. Rice was cold and hard more than once. Bland beans and bland vegetable fillings. Tortillas straight from a bag (probably Mission?). Honesty it’s just not good. Happy hour is decent. Very few gluten free options. Guacamole tastes like straight up raw garlic. Service sucks and orders take forever. French fries might be the best thing on the menu and that’s just sad.

So many vegan options - Edit
I drove through Binghamton and got food from here to go. There were so many vegan options to choose from. Everything was so good and fresh. They use a local vegan cheese (PCV) which is really good. My only complaint is that they messed up my husband's order.

Wow, where was this place when I was going to college in Binghamton? Oh yeah, that was a really long time ago.
Read moreGreat vegan tacos. They have a menu that marks the vegan choices and the wait staff knows which ones are vegan and which ones can be made vegan.
We had fried cauliflower taco, barbecue jackfruit taco and plantin and black bean taco. They came with a side salad.
We were just passing through Binghamton but we will be back.

Lovely surprise! - Edit
This place had no reviews when we decided to roll the dice, and we were happy we did. Serves meat, but we were fortunate to come when no one else was here, so I can't speak to what it smells like when it's packed. The seitan taco was tasty, the cauliflower taco was delicious (especially if you were a fan of fish tacos in your pre-vegan days), and the fried avocado goes very well with the vegan chimichurri sauce. Great fries too! A hit!

Cons: Serves meat and dairy
