New Ownership, vegan options removed from menu. - Edit
The restaurant has changed hands and the menu no longer has vegan options. There are a couple vegan friendly items but not many as the overall menu is small.

I loved their basil fried rice with vegan chicken. I ordered it at level hot with crispy garlic. It was delicious.

I also tried the Pad See Ew with vegan roasted duck. This dish was just ok. I wouldn't order it again, but would try a different noodle dish.
The owner is vegan and nice. Her husband is usually manning the front and he has a flippant attitude. Just ignore him and focus on the food.
They used to be Chang Thai - same place, same owners, same food.

I work with a lot of international folks and we all love eating here every other week or so. They have a few things on their menu I've never seen in the USA, like vegan nam tok!! Tons of choices for vegans. They were happy to make som tum vegan too, which is my favorite. The mango sticky rice and the ginger smoothie were surprise hits for me. And "Thai hot" is truly wonderfully hot! Wonderful staff.

I have been going to this restaurant for the past 4 years. The owner as previously noted, is also vegan! The vegan options are absolutely delicious. If it isn't busy, the owner will sometimes chat with you to make sure that you're enjoying the vegan meal she has prepared.

I fought my family to eat here. I read the owner was vegan and wanted to support a local vegan over some ridiculous chain. We went into the location to order. They said 20-25 minutes. We returned to get our food and had to wait another 35 minutes. A Grub Hub driver was also sitting there for over 20 minutes. Finally our food was up and they were missing one item. The couple began to fight. We finally got all our food and returned to our hotel and kids. We ordered 6 meals 4 different items off the menu. Every single one tasted the same. They were veggies with tofu in a soy sauce. This was the worst Thai food I've ever had. I wanted to love this place. I forced everyone to eat here over their objections. It was bad.

Family owned & operated 'from scratch' meals - Edit
This is a TINY restaurant where they make everything from scratch. Order tea and appetizers and be prepared to wait for your food - they take their time to prepare it. We've eaten here 4 times and had great service each time and delicious, authentic, Thai food. You can also call-ahead for takeout which works better if you are in a hurry. Delish!

I have to say, the service my friends and I experienced here was so bad, we honestly started looking for hidden cameras, as if we were being punked for a television show or something. The waitress, first, dumped a full tray of water on my two friends I was dining with. One of them was completely soaked. I'll spare you the long story of everything after that and just say that the service was really bad, the food was just ok, and our orders were mixed up and not right.

This restaurant was under veg options but it has a lot of vegan dishes. The owner is vegan and all you have to do is say you want a vegan dish and they will make it for you. Yum.

I know that I appreciate when I go out to eat and the restaurant knows what vegan means. It is a relief to know that there won't be anything fishy in my food.

Sometimes you get lucky enough to discover a Thai restaurant where you can just *taste* the love and care that go into the food. Chang Thai is just such a place. Everything I tried, I loved; I just wish I could remember the names of the dishes! They can make any dish with seitan, soy crumbles or tofu. I was surprised at how good the soy crumbles were, prepared Thai-style.
