Not many options but when you're hungry... - Edit
Lovely cosy little wooden maritime (fishery...) themed place, but not many choices really. I had the baked beets with falafels, baba ganoush and nuts which, for a whopping 26 euros wasn't all that bad, albeit a little soggy. Other options are a house salad and a side of root veggies. They can also make the chicken salad vegan by replacing chicken by beets. Don't know why the Hummus isn't vegan and forgot to ask...

OK spot in Husavik - Edit
A small selection of vegan options. No starters. You can ask for the vegan burger which is not listed on the menu.

Nice warmup after a whale watching tour - Edit
They had one dish explicitly labeled as vegan possible, it was a chicken salad with beetroot instead of the chicken. I asked the waiter if there were more options and he told me the falafel with baba ganoush is also vegan and so I decided to get it. I was very happy to finally get some healthy food after all the fast food (burgers/pizzas/fries) in iceland so far. It was nicely decorated and tasted very good. Portion was also enough for me. I payed 26€ for the falafel, there was free tap water.

Surprisingly good options, great location - Edit
Gamli Baukur is one of several restaurants in the harbor area of Húsavík. While touristy, the labeled vegan options are genuinely good, and you can enjoy watching the whale watching ships come and go while enjoying your meal.

An option where there aren't many - Edit
Serves meat and fish and you can definitely smell it. The vegan option was ok. It seems to be the patty of the day with vegetables. Pricey.

Delicious Vegan Special - Edit
They have a vegan special every day! This day was an unreal jackfruit crab cake with farrow and root vegetables. They also have oat milk for coffee and a bread appetizer, plus a few vegan entrees.

Perfect location, so so on the food - Edit
It's right by the water and they have a few vegan options (unfortunately not the mushroom pasta anymore). The Oumph was out when I was there so then they only had the burger. It was a really good burger!! A little spicy for me but still very good!

Decent options - Edit
They were out of all vegan options except the veggie burger, so I can only rank that. It was a veggie patty that had a good crispy exterior and it came with a giant pile of paprika seasoned fries. It wasn't anything special but it definitely still hit the spot.

Popular spot in Husavik harbour - Edit
Nice setting in a historical house made of driftwood. It was a popular spot for dinner and drinks. We had the vegan burger and vegan mushroom pasta, but there was also vegan tacos as an entree option. Some appetizers too: fries, sweet potato fries, edamame, olives, etc. Overall a very nice meal!
