Coffee and cake - Edit
We came here for afternoon coffee after visiting the Mull of Galloway lighthouse next door, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a choice of two vegan cakes on offer. I opted for the blueberry cake, which was delicious, and a coffee with oat milk. The staff were very friendly and you can see that they're taking steps to prevent cross-contamination, e.g. vegan cakes are on a separate shelf in the display cabinet and covered, gluten-free cakes in a separate stand.

Well worth the drive to this remote but beautiful spot.

Sadly the teas are plastic laden twinnings but the coffee was good.
So good to see a separate vegan menu.

Nice breakfast spot - Edit
Went in for breakfast with my partner and 4 year old. Adults had the vegan breakfast and they were able to do beans on toast for the little one despite it not being on the menu. They had oat milk for our coffees and I think this was the only milk alternative they offered. There were a couple of vegan cakes too, but we didn't try these.
