Brunch & Vegan Comfort Foods - Edit
I’ve been here several times, and enjoy their vegan comfort foods as a treat. Sometimes they’ll have a dessert item like a muffin or cookie for sale by the register. Also, they have other gifts for sale in the store. If ordering to-go, make sure to give them your credit card info over the phone? I like the water dispenser with ice available on those hot summer mornings. Got to be diligent about closing the door on those days. The only thing I wish they had more of is: more afternoon hours available. Would hands down go again!

Great vegan eats. - Edit
The food was fresh and delicious. The portions were a bit small but that’s normal for a cafe. I spent an afternoon doing work in the restaurant and the staff was very kind and welcoming. Dog friendly. And I’d definitely return.

The patio was the perfect place to enjoy our meal and the day. The Southwest Salad, with roasted corn, was light but filling. Would definitely order it again.
Read moreWe really enjoyed the tangy notes of the tomato basil soup. Not sweet and kind of creamy with fresh strips of basil; served with sourdough.
For the hummus plate, the hummus needed a little more flavor for me, loved the dolmas served warm, and that it was served with veggies, pita and olives.
Wish they had kombucha and more desserts!
Pros: Patio seating, Good food

Driving through and ordered ahead. The food is good but I should have checked my order by opening everything up. We had ordered a BLT and Breakfast Burrito. We paid for avocado on each but neither one came with it.

In a town with few vegan places, Gaia’s would be special even if mediocre; however, it’s excellent by any standard.

Excellent! - Edit
We loved this place! The service was friendly and helpful, the outdoor patio was relaxing and shady, and the food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. We ordered the Buddha Bowl (light curry on the hot garbanzos plus hot brown rice, the spinach was nicely softened but not wilted by the hot items, cool cucumber dice and shredded radish provided a nice contrast); the Breakfast Burrito (nicely seasoned sausage plus tofu scramble and home fried potatoes, all wrapped in a wheat tortilla and toasted); Tomato Soup (rich and tangy, delicious with the thick sourdough toast); and a lemon cookie (yummy super lemon flavor but too buttery for my taste). I would definitely recommend this place.

On our way to Moab we pulled off at an exit and decided to check Happy Cow, so glad we did! I had the Godfather Toast which was so tasty. My husband had the Buddha Bowl and loved it. The coffee and lemon drop cookies were the perfect way to end our lunch and get back on the road. 5 stars all the way!

Had tried to stop in once before while driving cris country but they were closed. Now I have friends in St. George and we stopped in for take out. I’m the only vegan so it was a much needed option. Ordered a BLT for me and nachos for the others. The large is so big that a few people eating from it couldn’t finish it. Love the outdoor seating area and all of the staff is just great! Highly recommend.

Visiting the area and needed a hearty breakfast after a morning run. Unfortunately the breakfast burrito was sold out, but luckily the biscuits and gravy did not disappoint. The gravy was flavorful and the biscuits were very good on their own. Will come back to try other items when I am in town.

Thank God for Gaia - Edit
Gaia garden Cafe is the only all vegan restaurant in St George, utah. Their menu is not very extensive but what they do have is yummy and most importantly, they have two to three desserts everyday to choose from. Hallelujah! It's also really nice that they are now open on Sundays and they have live music by local artists! Super fun place to hang out in a casual relaxed environment.

My husband and I got the roast beef sandwich and the BLT, both full of flavor. The strawberry roll was great but the lemon loaf was even better. We ended up going more than once during our trip to the area because we love to support 100% vegan places!
