Exciting, modern, interesting classy evening menu - Edit
It is so refreshing to have a trendy, modern, gastro-cuisine meat-free restaurant to go to on special occasions or as a treat in the evening. 3 of us had dinner here recently and the menu was a real delight to peruse. Enticing ingredients, beautiful presentation but most importantly a delectable experience in the mouth. Great place to take carnivores too as there are fish options so they don't feel alienated completely – i.e. a good stepping-stone restaurant for encouraging a cut down on meat frequency, but I wouldn't be surprised if even the hard-core meaties were tempted by the sumptuous veggie mains over the fish options. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the ambience is very hip but not intimidating. Desserts... where do I start. I'm fed up of lemon tart, chocolate fondant and creme brulee on every menu in Oxford... this place has really interesting and exciting desserts! Yes!
