Farmer's Market
Demeter-certified organic vegetable farm run by a Dutch couple selling their own crops as well as bought organic fruit, vegetables, small choice of packaged food and cleaning products. Sells here at the farmhouse on Fridays, and also offers box scheme for delivery or pick-up. Also sells at the market in Minden Wed 8am-1pm, in Diepholz Sat 8am-12.30pm, but check webpage for updates & changes. Open Fri 08:00-18:00.

Good address for fruits and vegetables - Edit
The Gärtnerhof Westerwinkel is located in the fields, quite a bit away from the main road an the next village. But it is worth to visit the farm. The wide range of organic fruits an vegetables has a very good quality. The staff ist friendly, really a nice place to shop food.

Excellent vegetables grown by dedicated farmers - Edit
Gärtnerhof Westerwinkel is a beautiful eco-haven in the village of Destel. The fruit and vegetable are invitingly displayed in the huge traditional farm house entrance hall and in a small side room you´ll find a small selection of packaged food and cleaning products. The owners are happy to order further products for you if you are prepared to take larger quantities. Anyway, I had a lovely chat with one of the owners who was super-friendly and had a good sense of humour. You can tell that he and his wife are truly dedicated to growning the best organic vegetables. They aren´t vegetarians but are open to veganism and now want to experiment with growing lupin for stock-free fertiliser. On my next visit I´ll definitely buy all my fruit and veg here!
