Stopped here for lunch and had a good experience. House made kimchi was delicious, nice portions, good seating indoor and outside. Would come again if I was in town.

Several vegan dishes on the menu and lots that can be veganized. Friendly staff who are knowledgeable about substitutions. After reading the reviews, I had the vegan green eggs and ham - outstanding!

Tasty and good value for money - Edit
I had the Malaysian satay bowl with tofu. Yum, yum, just the way I like it: tons of excellent peanut sauce, with veggies and rice.
Read moreNot much usually gets between me and satay tofu, but I had to admit defeat and ask for a take away box for some of it, as the portion was huge!

Pretty good - Edit
Read moreLots of options! Better food than I expected, based on the reviews. I had the "Green Eggs with Ham", which had lots of flavour, and did not skimp on the toppings
The toast was buttered, which I didn't eat as I never clarified if this was vegan butter or not, so please be aware of this!
Pros: Choices

Great meal! - Edit
This cafe has several vegan choices. I had the vegan burger (sweet potato, lentil, quinoa) and it was excellent. The server came and informed me that the bun that came with this burger had egg but I could substitute the gluten free one which is vegan, which I did. So was happy they did that! My husband had the daily rice bowl special, vegan, which was also really good. It was a good size serving!

Not the most amazing - Edit
Some things good, others not. I ordered Junglepot which was tasty and filling and could customise ingredients added - although tofu was plain and unseasoned. Slightly larger portion of potato’s than would usually eat but tasty nonetheless. Partner ordered sesame marinated tofu sandwich which was initially forgotten about. Staff quickly brought order that had been made in about 2 minutes. Tofu was very cold and seemed uncooked and had no flavour. Mix of flavours was odd and didn’t go well together. All in all a bit underwhelming for the price.

Disappointing - Edit
I had high hopes for this restaurant after a friend recommended it to me. As it isn’t a solely vegan restaurant, the vegan dish I had struggled a bit. I ordered the tofu scramble. Sadly the dish left much to be desired. The tofu was not marinated or seasoned at all. It was also mixed with an interesting choice of vegetables and beans. It was all over quite bland. The worst part was the potatoes mixed in, which were cold and soggy.
Read moreAlso, sadly, the coffee was not very good. It tasted burnt. I honestly couldn’t finish either the scramble nor the coffee.
The best part of the experience was the incredibly friendly and warm staff. I will be back to try another dish because I have faith that things (the food) can be better. Perhaps it was an off day?
Pros: Wonderful staff
Cons: Overpriced, Bland vegan option , Cold, soggy potatoes and undesirable coffee

It was OK - Edit
We order chilli and soup of the day (black bean) - not sure if the chilli was chilli, because it was more like soup, but it was good. Ordered 4 buns, recv 3, it was ok, not great. I also ordered kale and beet salad, there was no kale in it (just greens) only 2 items in it.

Pros: Clearly marked vegan options

Pretty standard breakfast at non-veg restaurant - Edit
First of all I am grateful this place has a vegan option. I had the breakfast tofu scramble. Unfortunately it was a little boring and bland—a big pile of food monolithic food that all tastes the same and was a bit of a chore to eat, save the occasional variety from the scant avocado and cilantro. Hot and healthy and could do much worse elsewhere. Yet, still disappointing. I’d recommend the owners learn from Isa Chandra Moskowitz on how to make a proper scramble, and offer a smaller portion with potatoes and toast on the side!
