Most Incredible Meal in Eastern Turkey 🎂 - Edit
A million thanks for the existence of this restaurant. Their food is astoundingly delicious. Well cooked, well seasoned, and beautifully delivered, we shared various dishes and enjoyed the lovely music, atmosphere, and service. Our local, non veg friends were pleasantly surprised, as it was their first time trying vegan food and they even said they would return without us! What a huge win. I am so so grateful to have such a wholesome, healing meal and especially to be spending my birthday here. What a gift.

Outstanding and mindblowlingly good - Edit
This places deserves almost more than 5 Stars. And I don’t think it’s just because we were starving when we came here and we were incredibly well fed - it’s because their food simply is AMAZING. We took several dishes; manti, keledoş, hiroşima, beyti. All of them convinced me with their hearty flavors, how well spiced they were. The balance of flavors and textures, ugh. All the side dishes convinced me as well, like the sauerkraut, the very sweet watermelon. Truly an oasis of food in this region for vegans. Would return anytime and would be a regular living here. Their vegan ayran convinced even the locals eating with us who are not vegan.

Super lovely place right in the city center, the garden is perfect to escape the lunchtime heat. The owner is vegan too and very welcoming and there's cute cats around (like everywhere in Turkey). Seemed like a popular place, it got pretty busy during lunchtime.

One of the best all vegan restaurants in Turkey - Edit
Pit aside that the food is amazing and you can find traditional food in a vegan way. The place is super hip, nice and cool. Alot of the young cool people of the city come here so it's a good place to blend in. The owner and the staff are so freaking nice.

I was so happy to find a vegetarian restaurant in eastern Turkey! So much meat is eaten here, it was a relief to find this place listed here on HappyCow. It's great to be able to try traditional Turkish dishes, as well! And it's a lovely atmosphere, with lots of cute cats all over the place. Plus it's Covid-appropriate, because you're dining outdoors. So nice to get a warm welcome to this happy, relaxed and friendly restaurant, PLUS the chance to eat delicious, reasonably priced meals. I recommend Gabo to anyone.

A vegan gem in Diyarbakır - Edit
This place is magic, a very beautiful vegan oasis in the middle of the East. What a wonderful surprise, the food is delicious and the staff is amazing, super kind and friendly. I highly recommend to have your breakfast or lunch in their terrace, a delightful place to enjoy food and quality time.

It's a lovely place, with lots of seats. Gabo also has really friendly staff, as well as good music.
Mains are about 15 lira. Hot chocolate 10 lira.

Gabo Kitchen is the only Vegan cafe in Diyarbakır. Meals are amazing! Must visit if you are in Diyarbakır.
