Unfortunately there was no vegan option. The ubiquitous fish smell hurried me along so that I didn't investigate the lack of plant-based dishes more deeply.

Nice to have a clear and one-ask option on the menu in this small town - burger was actually good too, not just thrown together. Dedicated patty. Stew available too quite nice.

Nous avons pris le « vegan stew » à partager et nous n’avons pas été déçus. Les portions de riz, stew et salade étaient généreuses. Les saveurs étaient excellentes. Nous recommandons fortement pour une journée plus froide comme aujourd’hui, ce fût un repas très réconfortant.

Vegan burger (again) - Edit
Vegan options now include a burger (not chickpea) and a bean stew. As Lacto intolerant, I’m very disappointed that only the vegan options are suitable. My vegetarian companion also struggled to find anything other than burger or pizza.

I didn’t think I’d be getting any decent lunch options on an afternoon in Flåm, but I was pleasantly surprised. I got the Vegan Thai stew and it was fine? It wasn’t incredible, but like I said, I was just happy we had options and it tasted pretty good!

Convenient for vegans but average vegan burger - Edit
This café offers a vegan burger clearly listed on the menu. There is no vegan cheese but an aioli. The steak of the burger was pretty good but the bread was a bit cold and the fries not very high standard. It was convenient to find something vegan to eat in this very small village but it was not the best meal ever. Nevertheless, they serve great local beers, the setting is nice and the staff is friendly.
