The cafe is really nice, as well as the staff. There was no “vegan option” on the breakfast menu, but the staff were nice and prepared something special. It was kind of missing the protein element that the vegetarian version came with, but it was nice nonetheless. The homemade bread was great. And the hostel itself was pretty fantastic. The scenery alone was one of the highlights, but the hostel itself also has a nice and cozy vibe. Met some lovely people and enjoyed using it as our base camp.

Cute Cafe with a lot of vegan Options - Edit
I made a quick stop at the Furu Hostel Cafe to have a bite to eat and a coffee. I was particularly impressed by the warm atmosphere. I was able to speak briefly with the owner, who is a very friendly person and puts a lot of heart and soul into the project.
Read moreThere are many vegan options, oat milk for the coffee and homemade vegan cakes. (When I was there, brownie peanut cake and banana bread) For a snack, I had a hummus sandwich with dried tomatoes and salad. Highly recommended!
